favourite breakfast

Bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, toast, orange juice or milk, and coronary. In that order.

Usually I don't have time for all that though.

If you ever come out this way, I'll have to take you to Mike & Rhonda's for breakfast. That's pretty much their Hungry Man breakfast, though they skip the toast and go directly for huge biscuits drowning in sausage gravy.

My favorite breakfasts are:

1. A omelette with chorizo, cheese, spinach, onions, salsa, and sour cream with bacon, country potatoes, and sourdough toast.
2. Any omelette with country potatoes and pancakes
3. Steak and eggs.
4. Cold pizza.

(1) Four eggs, either over-easy or scrambled, four strips of bacon (back or streaky) or four sausage links in natural casings or a good steak, four pieces of toast - with butter only if the eggs are over-easy and with raspberry or blackberry jam if they are scrambled, a pile of hash browns with ketchup or brown sauce.

(2) Four pieces of french toast with butter and (preferably real) maple syrup along with a decent portion of bacon - either kind. I like to run the bacon through the syrup before taking a bite.

(3) Biscuits and sawmill gravy with lots of pepper.

(4) Huevos Rancheros

(5) When camping or during a hangover (or both) - Corned or roast beef hash, fried to perfection and served with with ketchup or brown/steak sauce.

The "full English" breakfast would be an acceptable substitute for #1.

Bacon, fried eggs (with the yolk hardened and the bottom crispy and brown), Marmite on toast, plate of Corn Flakes, some strong coffee with a dash of rum and a big fat joint.

The ideal breakfast is buttermilk pancakes and maple syrup, with a glass of orange juice. Or possibly belgium waffles.

But I never eat that for breakfast. Only on rare occasions will I go someplace and order breakfast food (and it's typically not at breakfast). My typically morning breakfast is a protein bar. No preparation. Just throw it in my bag and walk out the door. I do enjoy other breakfast foods, though. I'm prone to eat a bowl of cereal or oatmeal if I get hungry in the middle of the day, or even at dinner time.

Varies between a croissant, or a bowl of bran flakes and skimmed milk. Sometimes both. :D Plus a cup of black tea. :bolian:

Best breakfast I ever had was a plate of smoked salmon and an omelette with ground pepper. Only ever had that once in my life, and I wouldn't mind having it again one day.

Is there no one else who likes oatmeal for breakfast? You lot don't know what you're missing.

Sausages, bacon (back, not that useless streaky stuff), fried eggs, black pudding, beans, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, hash browns, toast and a cup of tea.

Bacon with scramble eggs on toast, especially if they are my mum's scramble eggs. I have not found one person who can make them as delicious as she can, which is weird as she doesn't seem to do anything special to them.

When I was on college I loved muffin day and making a bacon, fried/poached egg sandwich. Also partial to hash browns.

The dad of one of my primary school friends use to make these homemade baked beans and bacon that was pure awesome. Not sure how he made them but they were great.

So in the end I guess my perfect brekkie would be bacon, mum made scramble eggs, friend's dad's bacon baked beans on toast with hash browns. My arteries hurt just thinking about how great that would be.

Toast, eggs, hashbrowns, steak, coffee (double sweet), orange juice, and sausage. Fills ya' up, gets ya' moving.

Toss up between Belgian Waffles with powdered sugar and syrup with link sausages and a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich. Plus a 4-shot red eye. :techman:
