favourite and least favourite doctor?.

Maybe, but as both are abrasive something needs to be there to differentiate them. I'd like to see her with McCoy's Seventh Doctor. His playing mysterious with her absence of patience for man of mystery schtick would be hilarious.
Oh definitely it could go horribly wrong with Donna and 6, which is why I said "If it works". She'd be fun with McCoy too, especially with her memory block intact, and his manipulations, it could be like Ace all over again, but, different
That would be a riot, Donna's subconscious Doctor/Donna and surface Chiswick temp running afoul of McCoys's Doctor and his sensibility of Timelord capacity for pretension would be delightful.

I think they are abrasive in different ways... His Highmindness, her pragmatism... great fun.

That would be great as well.

Who else is interested in Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor becuse of his first companion, Peri Brown as played by Nicola Bryant?

Now, Colin Baker and her....Oh NO, that would've been radioactive, LOL

They weren't that bad together.

Agreed. In fact, I would say that this might be my favorite Tegan appearance ever.

Favorite companions: Jamie & Zoe because they're from my favorite era of the series. Amy & Rory because they're both so funny and are just about the only companions that could carry their own show without the Doctor. I'm also quite fond of Donna. Catherine Tate's comic abilities allowed David Tennant to somewhat tone down his manic Doctor because now Donna was carrying half the load.

Least favorite companions: Ben, Polly, & some of the other forgettable William Hartnell companions. Tegan & Peri were both nails on a chalkboard. And the farther removed I get from the early seasons of the new series, the less patience I have for all the luvy-duvy Rose stuff.

Let's see... My Favorite would have to be 11. My reasons? Simple. He's a lot like 2, with a touch of 9, and the emotional baggage of 10. Since I would rate my favorites as 2,10, and 9 combined I am forced to love 11.

Now then, my least favorite? Hmm... I would have to say, 3. He was too "Spock" for my taste. Not enough, "You've had this place redecorated, haven't you? Hmm... Don't like it." and "No, no, no, no" and of course my all time favorite, "Hmm... Looks dangerous. After you Brigadier."

Favourite Doctor: Jon Pertwee. Troughton and Davison as runners-up.

Least favourite: To put it as politely as possible, I absolutely loathe Tennant's Doctor. McCoy is close behind. Both made Who completely and utterly unwatchable for me.

Favourite companion? Sarah-Jane Smith. Leela and Donna as runners-up.

Least favourite companion? Rose and Martha. Gah. Just gah.

It's not a crime to not like aspects of modern Who, you know. Nothing is going to happen to those who say they dislike some character or whatever. I myself tend to focus more on Pertwee/ Baker and then whomever the current incumbant happens to be. Which in this case means Smith.

^ Don't recall anyone saying it was a crime not to like aspect of modern Who. I haven't been overly impressed with the arc-story-telling of the Moffatt tenure so far (even if Matt Smith is my favourite Doctor).

My favorite is Patrick Troughton by a long shot. Second favorite is Peter Davison, but Matt Smith is rapidly climbing up the charts and he's challenging.

It's difficult for me to come up with a "least favorite" Doctor. Colin Baker's stories were terrible but I love his audio work. I've been surprised when going back through episodes that I find it difficult to rewatch a lot of the Tennant episodes for some reason. I enjoyed him a lot as the Doctor but on rewatching it he's becoming very grating and melodramatic. I don't think I'd call him the worst, but it's interesting.

Maybe not, but you did sort of challenge him.

 Where was the challenge? I wasn't even replying to him. Orac Zen said he hated Tennant, Rose and Martha and I said - in the vein of Father Dougal from Father Ted - 'Big fan of the RTD era then?'

Sarcasm, facetiousness, not a challenge.

That's interesting, I caught the last fine minutes or so of The Satan Pit the other night and God Tennant was annoying (in fairness though he was at his most annoying in series 2, he did calm down) and I have to say this is something that's become more apparent since he left whenever I watch an episode. He's so in your face and hyper and trying so very, very hard, and at times its painful to watch. Of course I acclimatise to him--and the hyper loud, hyper shouty RTD Who-- very quickly and enjoy it, but it's still oh so obvious that Smith is far more natural, relaxed and comfortable in the Doctor's skin than Tennant often was.

I thik Matt Smith's Doctor is very bland and boring, Tennant in that scene was close to tears since that was the final scenes filmed that year and on that set since after that they moved to a new set.

He wasn't close to tears in the scene I'm talking about, he was gurning and shouting to the beast and generally hamming it up big time. Don't get me wrong, I like Tennant and most of the time he was very good as the Doctor, but it's too often a very attention seeking performance- me I prefer Smith's far more natural take on the role.

^ Yeah I agree. I loved both Eccleson and Tennant (probably preferred Chris) but both at times were visibly 'ACTING!' With Smith, you get the impression that it's totally natural.

I still think he might actually be a Timelord or some kind of alien.
