Favorite Vorta? If Any?

I'm new to the board, so firstly I'll say hey everybody! I'm excited to have found an active ST board.

Anyway, how many of you are fans of Vorta? I myself am (as well as Cardassians and Romulans) and was just looking around for others.

Definitely Yelgrun! Jeff Combs was awesome as Weyoun, but Iggy Pop was out there d00d! :D

I liked the Vorta too. It would have been interesting to explore them a bit more. To see a few more clones in more detail as most of what we know is based on Weyoun, not that that is bad, he was a great character.

I think I had positive thoughts for all of the Vorta (though I haven't watched the last two seasons all the way through in a while). Though, my favorites would've been Weyoun and Keevan.

They were both rather deceitful and complex, though you didn't see much of Keevan at all, which is a big disappointment for me.

I do think that it would've been nice to explore them more. I've been looking for fan fiction to fill that void, but much of what I have found isn't as in depth as I would like.

The Vorta were quite the slimy bunch...though I have to admit Kilana didn't come off quite as bad as the rest, and for that, I like her a bit more than the rest.

I'd have to go with Eris. Subtle, innocent-seeming, the Vorta's Vorta. No one suspected foul-play until the end.

The actress who played her really captured the moment in the 'Do you have any gods ...' scene. Another example of DS9 doing what it does best ...

Keevan managed to out-Weyoun Weyoun...for a while there...he gets my vote. :D

We saw so few Vorta that it's anybody's guess what they are "really" like - maybe Kilana was a typical Vorta? It's hard to imagine how the Dominion could survive with middle management like Keevan.

Though I bet Weyoun isn't half as good at making avatars as Temis.

He can never tell if something looks better in blue! :rommie:

Believe it or not, I didn't know much of Iggy Pop when he was cast as Yelgrum, so I can't say there was any stunt casting.

The dialogue between his character and Moogie was hilarious.

Another favorite, in the same episode, was Keevan...who had a nonchalant attitude about the whole affair.

Weyoun was funny because there were always clones of him appearing.

You're right I totally forget about Keevan, he had that totally dry sense of humor, but he was pretty gullable about agreeing to Quarks demands. He would also make my favorite list, Good Call...

Weyoun 1-8 all were great

Keeven, totally dry sense of humor, loved it

Kilana, was probably the most "human" Vorta I saw

Yelgrun, was not he the back stabbing Vorta in Rocks and Shoals

The Vorta that was killed by the Ferengi and was programmed to walk but malfunctioned and kept on walking into the bulkhead..

The rest of the Vorta kind of faded into the background...

the vorta that was killed by the Ferengi was Keevan.

Yelgrun was the Iggy Pop character from the same episode. Keevan was the backstabber from Rocks and Shoals.

for someone who professes to like Keevan, you don't seem to know his character very well...

I'm not sure... I really don't like the Vorta... horrid little creatures.
I think I like Kilana as a "person."

I liked Chris Shea, but only because of MF, if Keevan had just been in R&S... it would have been terrible!!

Weyoun (JC) did a good job, but I wouldn't have been opposed to seeing more of Borath.

I can't get over who many of them there are- 400 alone sent to Bajor... way too many Vorta... yuck!
