Favorite Upcoming Book?

Myriad Universes 3

There's already gonna be a third one? Or is this just wishful thinking?

Yes there is going to be a 3rd volume! It's on the release schedule.

Well, good. I haven't read the first two yet, but they are on my "to read" pile. Since I've always loved it whenever Trek does an "alternate universe" story (episode, book, whatever), hearing that a volume 3 is in the works is good news.

And I agree with your other comments Kevin, Pocket has been putting out alot of good titles recently. I just finished the Terok Nor trilogy a week or so back, and I can't say enough good things about it. I am 160 pages into Greater Than the Sum, and am loving every second of it. Without giving too much away, I must say I particularly like T'Ryssa Chen, and sincerely hope she joins the TNG cast permanetly. I was not fond of T'Lana and don't miss her.

I'm hoping M&M can work their magic on ENT again with Kobyashi Maru.
Destiny doesn't do much for me.
It was the mention of a Captain Robert April novel that most excited me at Shore Leave.

Since you apparently haven't heard yet, only Michael A. Martin is writing The Romulan War. No word yet on why Andy Mangles isn't involved.

As for Destiny, I'm actually more exited about it than I am about anything on TV or in Theatres for the rest of the year.

MMPB do not have a strict release schedule. They normally begin appearing in the second or third week of the previous month. It all depends.

Enterprise: Kobayashi Maru
The Romulan war book(s?)
Any future Captain April book
Shatner's Academy Series.

Maybe Destiny too. I'm waiting for fellow BBS members to weigh in on it before I buy it, but sounds good already.

Uh, but both Mangels and Martin did write Kobayashi Maru, which is the novel that Hij'Qa was referring to.
Sorry, I got it confused with The Romulan War .:brickwall:

StarTrek Mere Anarchy and Titan's next book and Keith's new book that comes out in Februry.Kevin Ryan's last book Errand of Fury.

Definitely the Destiny-Trilogy, including all its Prequels and Sequels, Vanguard 4 & 5 comes second. But I'm basically looking forward to everything on that schedule (Apart from Star Trek 101, not much of a Reference-book-Fan any more).

Start checking Amazon about two weeks before the "official" publication date.

As of now, Kobayashi Maru is number one on my list.

But that may change as we lean more about the other upcoming books....

Looking forward to Romulan War... the DS9 books... and of course, the TNG books.

After reading GTTS then it's def the Destiny Trilogy.
Besides that I'm looking forward to The Soul Key and the next Mirror and Myriad universe books.

Oh and everything else, 2009 is just a golden year for treklit.
