Elite Force was a favorite of mine as well. It, I thought, tried to balance shoot'em'up with Trekkian exploration. It bent the rules of the Borg, but so did the show and movies. It's not as brainless as Unreal Tournament, the game whose engine powers STV:EF originally was (plug-in modifications have added much more in strategic gameplay)... didn't STV:EF get accolades when released (about 2000)?
Was Klingon Honor Guard any good? I love the idea of an first person shooter where you play as a Klingon.
It was glorious! You could even throw the betleH across the room! And walk inside and outside an entire D7/qItI'nga'!Late reply but yes, I really liked Klingon Honor Guard. It's interesting to see such an early use of the Unreal engine, you get to visit some bizarre Andorian nightclubs, and some of the weapons are truly imaginative and feel powerful, especially the Bat'leth, which really makes you feel unstoppable . Plus, there's a segment where you must space-walk across the hull of a Klingon Bird of Prey, which is just about the coolest thing ever.
