It is a bit ironic that I'm posting this but I'm gonna ahead and see what sounds you people enjoy the most.

As for me, they include my girlfriend's laughter, leaves rustling (in certain conditions), glass clinking and turning a page.

The way I hear my dog's last percolating heave in the wee hours of the night before I realize I'm too late to stop him from puking on the bedroom carpet for the 3rd time this week.

The sound of babies sleeping.
The sound of dinner simmering on the cooker.
The sound of an affectionate kiss.
The opening tune of my favourite show.
Peaceful country silence.
Fountains.

Rain. On rainy nights, I always sleep like a log.

The Ocean.

A fire crackling in the fireplace.

A cat purring.

The sound of blankets rustling when you roll over in the night.

City/freeway white noise
Positive crowd reaction
Dog's panting
Boom-bap instrumentals
sighs of relief
The sound you hear when a barber cuts your wet/damp hair with scissors

favourite sound would be the gentle voice of my boss as he says
"it's pay day"

otherwise the sound of my partners laughter or the ticking of a clock

The mid-diastolic rumbling murmur of mitral stenosis heard at the apex of the heart using the bell-end of a stethoscope. On a good day. :bolian:

The sound of my boyfriends voice.

Rain.

The sound of a family gathering, which is as pleasant as it is stressful.

My 2 year old cousins laughter.

The sound of yet another metal beer cap landing on the bar as a frosty cold one (with a chilled mug) is set in front of me.

The sound of waves hitting my grandfather's boat and the seagulls screeching somewhere above.

The Ocean (or running water - rivers and the like - generally). Cliche but true for me.

Me too.

I also love the sound of the Santa Anas--probably because I don't live in a fire zone and so they don't bring horror to me.

The moment of silence when everybody in the stadium is holding their breath just before the ball crosses the line, followed by the explosion of joy when it actually is a goal, during a football match.

Waves reaching the beach

Birds singing

Cicadas in the summer

Rain on the roof

These are a few of my favorite things...
