The Third season has alot of my favorite episodes from Enterprise. But I like shows from all four seasons.

Really? Watching Season 1 on Blu-ray. Last episode I watched was the Ferengi one. Loved it! lol Yeah, Picard mey the Ferengi first, but I think they were going for a "what if that wasn't the first encounter?" or something. ;)

There's some good stuff in those first two seasons imo, especially in Season 1. A mixed bag sure, but Cogenitor is an amazing episode, one of Trek's best, Shuttlepod One is also really good, and I enjoy the Andorian/Vulcan rivalry.

Season 3, but I actually think Season 3 goes out to Home from Season 4. That was the character development season. Season 4 is a close second though.

Even though Season 4 is the best season overall, my personal preference is Season 3. You can debate whether the Xindi should have been the antagonists over Romulans, Suliban, Augments, etc that season. But it has a number of favourite episodes (“Anomaly”, “Twilight”, “Proving Ground”, etc), and that final stretch from “Azati Prime” on is among the strongest in Trek history.

Seasons 1 and 2 had a lot of filler to them.

Hard to say. Season 4 is the obvious go-to, but sometimes I find myself going back to Season 3 like it's one big movie.

First and fourth. Three wasn't bad, it was only the back half of season two where the show seemed to lose its way.

It's a toss up between the first and last seasons. Both have a feeling of optimism and excitement to them, that they're making history with every light year.

I know the third season is generally considered the best, but its too unrelentingly grim throughout with not enough moments of levity - a bit too Battlestar Galactica for my taste.

Have to go with the Xindi arc. Season 4 was good but some of it felt like being pandered too, for example I don't need an explanation for Klingon foreheads.

I felt like Enterprise knocked it out of the park with the 2-3 part episodes in season 4. There were only 3 episodes all season that didn't work for me and those were Daedalus, Bound and These are the Voyages.

I also really enjoyed season 3 but I felt like they chewed off too much during the season. It was their first attempt at doing a season long arc. Just feel like it would have been better if they had two arcs in the season.

I actually just posted about this in another thread. Season 3 has to be my favorite overall season. I like the overall plot and a lot of the individual episodes, not that there weren't some stinkers. Season 4 had some good stuff, but I couldn't stand things like the Terra Prime and augment stories, and I think all the multi-partners really hurt the season

I love S3 so much. S4 is right behind it, though.

It's a shame that they decided not to use the Romulans in S3, but the Xindi were well realised at least.

I remember when ‘Broken Bow’, the pilot episode, first aired I was really excited about the whole prequel concept of the show. Having spent almost 15 years in the 24th century, I was looking forward to learning more about humanity’s first steps into the great unknown.

Unfortunately the initial excitement soon made room for disappointment as the show seemed to re-hash stories from TNG or VOY. It wasn’t until the 3rd season that the show really found its footing. The 4th season really dived into Trek-lore -and is my favorite.

We’re currently re-watching Enterprise for the first time in 15 years and my opinion on the show has changed drastically. We’re almost at the end of S2 and I realize now that the show had some great storylines and character moments. The whole dynamic with T’Pol and the Vulcans, the difficult relationship with the Andorians, the mysterious temporal cold war, etc..

At the time, I wanted Star Trek to be more like BSG or 24. But now in the age of serialized storytelling, I kind of miss those series that are able to find the right balance between standalone episodes and overarching storylines. I think DS9 found the perfect balance, but looking back now (and able to binge watch the show), Enterprise also had an interesting continuity throughout its run.
