Favorite Scene from Each Movie

The title is pretty self-explanatory. I was wondering what everyone's favorite scenes/moments are from each of the movies.

These are mine:

TMP: This Simple Feeling - Spock in sick bay after melding with V'Ger and finally realizing that pure logic is bereft and cold and he seems to finally be at peace with himself.
TWOK:Spock and Saavik talking about humans.
TSFS:Probably when Sarek says "My logic is uncertain where my son is concerned." I liked that - it was finally an admission of Sarek's love for his son.
TVH: Spock's exchange with Sarek at the end. I liked that they brought Spock's relationship with his father full circle and Sarek admitted that he had been wrong in disapproving of Spock's choices.
TFF: Kirk, Spock, and McCoy's camping trip. Or perhaps the flashback to Spock's birth.
TUC: The dinner with the Klingons.
GEN: "Human females are so repulsive."
FC: Picard and Lily in Picard's ready room where he explains about his assimilation and breaks his little ships.
INS:My memories of this one are vague, however I remember when Data said "In the event of a water landing, I have been designed to serve as a flotation device."
NEM: I'm not sure. I did really like seeing the Romulans and their new Warbirds.

 

[Too Much Fun]

"Star Trek: The Motion Picture": Spock floating through space on his own.

"Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan": Khan's last words for Kirk before "stranding him" on the planet. I especially love the way he whispers "buried ALIVE".

"Star Trek III: The Search for Spock": Kirk and crew hijack the Enterprise.

"Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home": Tough choice. I can't choose between Kirk and Gillian on their pizza date, Kirk, Spock, and Gillian in her truck, Chekov's interrogation and run from the soldiers, or Kirk and McCoy in the hospital with Chekov.

I haven't seen enough of the fifth one to pick a favourite scene.

"Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" - Chang's last words.

"Star Trek: Generations" - When Soren hits one of the Klingon women in the face with a palm strike. "I hope you were initiating a mating ritual!".

"Star Trek: First Contact" - Cochrane's discomfort with the hero worship. First there's the brief, quiet moment of Barclay subtly stalking him, then he tells LaForge he has to pee as an excuse to get away from him ("I'm not detecting any leak!"), and finally, that great line before he starts running away - "I don't wanna be a statue!". I know it doesn't do anything for some of you, but I love the comedy in this movie.

"Star Trek: Insurrection" - When Geordi and Picard are talking and Geordi is happy because his eyes are normal for once.

"Star Trek: Nemesis" - When Shinzon asks Troi if he can touch her hair, because I thought it was funny how he could be tactless enough to ask such a creepy question.

TOS When Kirk first appears on the bridge and the camera scans the rest of the crew. I felt a real sense of victory that Star Trek was really back!

TWOK Spock's Death Scene. I still cry like a baby when I watch it. Probably some of the best acting Nimoy/Shatner has ever done

TSFS After Spock's Katra has been put back into his body and he approaches Kirk:
Spock: My father said you came back for me?
Kirk replies: You would've done the same for me.
Spock: Why did you do this?
Kirk: Because the needs of the one outweigh the needs of the many.
Right there! That is the crux of Star Trek. Friendship and taking care of each other.

TVH Scene on the bus where Spock gives the punk a Vulcan pinch. I take public transportation and I WISH I could do that!

I've seen the other movies and nothing from them really sticks out in my mind.

TMP: The glamour shots showing the Enterprise in all her beauty.

TWOK: Very hard, either Spock's death scene or the funeral scene. I'd say the former just edges it.

TSFS: Seeing the hull of the Enterprise as a fireball in the sky, Kirk says "My God Bones, what have I done?" And the good doctor replies, "You did what you had to do, what you've always done, turn death into a fighting chance to live".

TVH: Let's see let's see.....the Chekov interrogation scene.

TFF: "I need my pain"

TUC: The final scene.

GEN: Probably the Ent-B sequence actually.

FC: Picard's emphatic speech.

INS: Geordi seeing the sunset maybe.

NEM: Shinzon's death scene I think.

"Star Trek: The Motion Picture": Kirk’s tour of the Enterprise early in the film. Though, it’s been a while since I’ve seen it, so I could be wrong.

"Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan": The Enterprise rising behind the Reliant just before she cripples the Reliant by taking out her Torpedo bays and warp nacelle.

"Star Trek III: The Search for Spock": The “death” of the Enterprise.

"Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home": Scotty trying to talk to a really old Mac.

“Star Trek: The Final Frontier”: I can’t really say I have a favorite moment.

"Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country”: The Excelsior flying through the subspace shockwave. And the Enterprise and the Excelsior pummeling Chang’s Bird of Prey with photon torpedoes.

"Star Trek: Generations": The Battle between the Enterprise-D and the Bird of Prey.

"Star Trek: First Contact":The Battle with the Borg at the start of the film.

"Star Trek: Insurrection": “Have you noticed how your boobs have started to firm up?”

"Star Trek: Nemesis": The battle of the Bassen Rift.

TMP: The whole movie.....well I can't pick any I just love the look and feel of the entire movie except for two bad FX shots.
TWOK: Khan's initial attack and, as James Horner described it, the Enterprise blowing in the wind after the first battle.
TSFS: Stealing the Enterprise
TVH: Gillian "seeing" the cloaked Bird of Prey for the first time and the BOP decloaking above the whaling boat. Oh and the "Doctor gave me a pill and I grew a new kidney."
TFF: The free minds sequence in the observation lounge and the BOP rising from behind a cliff behind Kirk.
TUC: The Battle at the end.
GEN: The pull away from Harriman, Scotty and Chekov and Scotty's "Aye" to Chekov's question of anyone being in that room.
FC: Picard and Lilly's "argument."
INS: The Briar Patch battle
NEM: The ramming sequence.

The bit in ST4, where they reveal the whalesong bit, in the BOP, and those actors, twenty years older, go through their lines, with all the old magic, and the plot twists round 180 degrees and heads back to the past.

TUC: (not much, this movie has aged the worst over time) If I had to choose I would say either the space battle near the end or the cast sign off.
GEN: The shot where Kirk sits in the Captain's chair and realizes that it is no longer his place.
FC: The scene where Picard goes nuts and smashes his little ships.
INS: The part where I walked out of the theater and went home.
NEM: The memorial for Data.

Generations: The Armagosa Station, Picard and Troi scene "That's not okay", Enteprise vs. Klingons and the crash and the ending.

The First Contact: Opening fight with the Borg, all the Data & Borg Queen scenes, Lily and Picard in the Briefing Lounge and the scene between Riker and drunken Troi in the bar.

Insurrection: "The British Tar", Enterprise to the rescue, the death of that stupid Admiral and Geordi seeing the sunrise.

Nemesis: "You have the bridge, Mr. Troi", "Why do you have a shiny head?"-scene (escape), the battle between the Big-E and Skimitar.

TMP: The sickbay scene when Spock is back from mindmelding with V'Ger.
TWOK: Spock's death.
TSFS: Theft of the Enterprise.
TVH: Spock and Kirk with Gillian in the pickup.
TFF: McCoy watching Kirk freeclimb and talking to himself.
TUC: The final scene. Although I like the whole movie. But the final scene and the signatures which follow it choke me up.
GEN: The Nexus scenes.
FC: "You broke your little ships."
INS: None. Have seen it only once, hated it.
NEM: None. Have seen it only once, don't remember much.

WOK: The Enterprise inspection flyby tour in a travel pod with Scotty and Kirk(shortened from TMP), but now dock in torpedo bay / .....later Enterprise finally striking the Reliant to disable it.
SFS: Stealing the Enterprise from Spacedock.
VH: Kirk and crew find they have a 1701-A for them
FF: Uhura, Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Chekov and Sulu fly from earth on the shuttlecraft into the 1701-A Hangar deck and are greeted by Scotty. They then take the turbolift directly to the bridge
UC: 1701-A and Excelsior destroy the Klingon BOP, together
GEN: USS Enterprise 1701-B launch scenes
FC: battle in the beginning starfleet vs. the Borg
INS: Enterprise to the rescue
NEM: 1701-E in drydock being repaired, I would have liked a prolonged flyby tour in a travel pod with Picard and Geordi as we saw in TMP.

TVH: I don't really remember much about this movie, but I liked the hospital parts and the part where the lady is yelling and trying to find the ship. She looks like a mime.
GEN: "Human females are so repulsive!" Gates McFadden was goddamned gorgeous in that film. Damn you, TPTB, for screwing her over for screen time.
FC: any scene with the Borg Queen.
INS: I didn't like it. I guess I will pick the part where Geordi can see the sunset.
NEM: the little scene with Bev and Jean-Luc. Data's death. Data's memorial.
