The Klingon Battle Cruiser (from Classic Trek)

The Jem'Hadar attack ships (from DS9)

The Borg Cube

The only race to come out ahead in the transition to Next Gen, IMHO, was the Romulans. The green TNG ship was light years ahead of the original white model with the bird decal on the bottom.

I liked most of the Dominion ships. I also thought the Terran Empire Ship Avenger was cool purely because of its name. I also really liked the Xindi Aquatic battlecruiser and the Insectoid fighters.

Well the Romulan Warbird is definetely up there, and so is the Jem'hadr warships (the massive one) but the one that always stopped me in my tacks was the Borg Cube, such a simple design but it says a lot. I wasn't too impressed when voyage started showing all these complicated shpaed ones (Descent could get away with it because they were renegades).

My favourite ship is the USS Dauntless, from the Voyager episode "Hope and Fear". (The Dauntless is an alien ship disguised as an ultra-advanced Federation ship.)

I just thought it was such a cool interior design, and very exciting.

I like the Valdore-type Romulan vessels from Nemesis. Don't much care for the D'deridex, which seems to have a lot of wasted space in the middle.

Although my favorite non-Fed starships would be the Klingon Negh'var class, and the (unknown species) Dauntless.

I really liked all the ships of the NX-era but I really liked the Vulcan ships and the xindi arboreal/arkonian ships. I thought the vulcan ships really gave you a feel for the culture and their distinct aesthetics.
