All good choices. I also like the Dominion beetle-like fighters and the Klingon bird of prey, originally from ST:TSFS.

I kind of like the remastered version of Balok's ship, too, the Fesarius (sp?).

see, if they had shown that ship on an episode of DS9 or Voyager and said it was an advanced new model Bird of Prey, i'd completely believe it. as an earlier, older design, it's too sleek. still it's a good looking ship, just placed in the wrong part of the technical continiuty

but my all time favorite alien ship is the Klingon D-7. it's distinct and clearly from a differnt people than built the Enterprise, but also clear designed with the same technological concepts. even moreso if you take into account the pre-TMP idea that the hole inthe nose was a sensor/deflector like the Enterprise's dish, not the weapon port it was later shown as.

Well, its a bit of a bulkier design with exposed wires and stuff that would definitely have been covered up in a later design. It also doesn't have enclosed nacelles, it has disruptors that pop in and out like the NX-01 has (the Miranda might have been the only non-Enterprise ship I can think of with a gun that's similar, although that didn't retract).

I have to run out now, but I'll see if I can find some better shots of it when I come back

I'm very disappointed by the Andorian ships from Enterprise. The design looks like a HUMAN design... I would've thought Andorian ships were more bug like.

The Romulan D'Deridex warbird is my favorite, too, for reasons that already have been mentioned: It's stunning, yet menacing.

The Ferengi marauder and Vulcan ring ships also are impressive as well as original.
