"You going to kill me, Snake?"

"Not now, I'm too tired. Maybe later."

"My master died without issue--in the accepted sense of the word."
--DRACULA, PRINCE OF DARKNESS.

"For better hallway vision."

"We're on a mission from God."

JOHN CRICHTON
How do you say 'we're screwed' in your native tongue?

AERYN SUN
I'm sure your world has no force so ruthless, so disciplined. JOHN CRICHTON
Oh, we call 'em linebackers, or serial killers. Depends on whether they're professional or amateur.

Auntie Mame: You know what they say, Life's a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!

"Wakey, wakey. Eggs and bakey."

"White women call this 'the silent treatment,' and we let 'em think we don't like it."

-- Budd's creepy midget friend, Kill Bill vol. 2

^ :D "Here's to the Army and Navy and the battles they have won; here's to America's colors, the colors that never run."

Any single one of Alan Rickman's lines in DIE HARD. Hans Gruber was arguably the finest supporting role in film history.

Speaking of Alan Rickman:

PRINCE JOHN: "Why a spoon, cousin?"

SHERIFF OF NOTTINGHAM (RICKMAN): "Because it's dull, you twit! It'll hurt more!"

In the sprit of the holidays:

Hey. If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one: I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, fore-fleshing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is. Hallelujah. Holy shit. Where's the Tylenol?"

"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum." - They Live

Not Claude Rains in Casablanca? Or Ernest Thesiger in Bride of Frankenstein? Sydney Greenstreet in The Maltese Falcon? James Mason in North by Northwest? Maurice Evans in Planet of the Apes? Martin Landau in Ed Wood? Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight? Or any of the stars who have won Best Supporting Actor Oscars?

And that's just counting the guys! :)

I mean, I like Die Hard, but . . . .

There's an idea -- Best Supporting Actor quotes (winners or nominees)!

"I fought as long and as hard as you. Every day you fought, I fought! I'm a general. Look. Look! Here's my pay, a little dust. I can't even buy a bottle of tequila. We beat Diaz, he's living in a palace in Paris. We beat Huerta, he's rich in the United States. I have to beg pennies from people who never fired a gun!" -- Anthony Quinn as Eufemio Zapata, Viva Zapata!

Okay, I'll play:

"You want to know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way . . . ."
--Sean Connery in The Untouchables.

And of course everyone who reads it will read it while doing Sean Connery's voice inside their head.

"The use of unnecessary violence in the apprehension of the Blues Brothers has been approved."

One of my favorite quotes? This one. I love how Kirk sneers when he says this to Khan in ST II:

"Khan...I'm LAUGHING at the 'superior intellect'."

"Hey, Ryan, be careful what you shoot at, hmm? Mosh tings in herah, don react too well to bullish."
my favorite movie!!!

Mine too! Favorite exchange:

CARRIER CAPTAIN: "The Bird's loaded down with enough fuel to get you there but Dallas may not be there! We're trying to get a message to her now, but if she's gone deep, it's done! if you have to ditch...don't think about anything but the survival gear! At this water's temperature you'll have about four minutes!"

RYAN: "I'll try to remember that!" (then low) "Next time, Jack, write a goddamned memo..."

Better yet, the scene on board the transport that's taking Jack to the carrier:

"Some turbulence, eh Commander? You don't like flying, huh, Oh, this is nothing. You should have been with us five, six months ago. WOAH! You talk about PUKE! We ran into a hailstorm over the Sea of Japan. Everybody's retching their guts out. The pilot shot his lunch all over the windshield, and I barfed on the radio! Tossed it all completely! And it wasn't that lightweight stuff, either. It was that chunky industrial-waste puke! Say, you want a bite?" (hands Jack a candy bar)

Although my favorite Red October quotes are of course, Richard Jordan (who plays the National Security Adviser):

(to the Soviet ambassador)
"You have nearly a hundred naval vessels operating in the North Atlantic, RIGHT NOW. Your aircraft have dropped enough sonar buoys so that a man could WALK from Greenland to Iceland to Scotland without getting his feet wet! Now shall we dispense with the bull?"

(different scene, to Jack Ryan):
"I'm a politician, which means I'm a cheat and a liar. And when I'm not kissing babies, I'm stealing their lollipops. BUT it also means that I keep my options open."
