Favorite 'Little' Moments Of DS9...

Farscape One

We all love the big moments... watching the Battle of Wolf 359, the reveal of the Changelings being the Founders of the Dominion, Worf coming to DS9.

But what about the little moments? Those seconds that just grab you and make you feel sadness, joy, reflective, or just plain fall of your chair laughing. DS9 is full of those seconds, and we all rewatch episodes over and over again because of them.

What are your favorites? I will start. (This being my favorite STAR TREK series, I have a great many of them.)

"THE JEM'HADAR" - Quark giving Sisko his review of human history. And you can tell he hit a nerve the second he mentioned slavery. But Quark made his point, and he made it well. Sisko couldn't defend, and I thought it was brilliant that right after Quark finishes, he just goes right to work on that collar. That was a slam dunk moment for Quark, and one of the many reasons why he endeared himself so much to me.

Bashir, in "Trials and Tribble-ations," worries that he might have contaminated the timestream in such a way that his grandparents wouldn't have gotten together. To O'Brien's scoffing, he says hotly, "Fine! I can't wait to see your face when we get back to our own time and you find out I don't exist!"

The smile on Mile's face is priceless.

There are two Quark and Odo moments that always pop to mind,.

1) They are discussing rootbeer and how its analogous the the Federation ( this was Quark and Garak , thanks for the reminder below )

2) Quark tells Odo hes going to protect his bar, only to open his phaser box to find a note from Rom about having dissembled the phaser for parts to repair the replicator.
Quark " Im going to Kill him!"
Odo " With What?"

:) makes me smile every time.

Ezri unable to deal with Garak's claustrophobia. She had to deal with her own problems and was confrontated with Garak's accusations and problems. She wasn't prepared for her joining. Luckily her relationship with Garak became better once she learned to deal with all the Dax personalities.
