You got it. I knew that by this point of the tournament all the matchups would feature characters that, for the most part, we all love. I knew that doing random matchups might mean you'd end up with some good matchups earlier on and some favorite characters eliminated probably earlier than they should be (Ben Sisko, Scotty, Quark, The Doctor all out in the 1st round), as well as some characters hanging around longer than expected (anybody predict Reed and Hoshi to get to the final 16? lol), but it usually works out in the end.

I didn't realize a lot of people didn't like her, but I see what you mean. She's been close to losing each round. She beat Guinan 7-5, Phlox 10-8, and Ezri 7-5. I guess she's a survivor. Not on DS9, mind you, but on these boards for at least another day.

Only after I joined the Trek BBS did I realize there were actually a lot of people who hate her character. So, while she's certainly not my favorite, I don't see what's there to hate. Oh, the discussions in the DS9 forum ... ()

- well I really like Jadzia, but Picard is the stronger character, particularly because Patrick Stewart is such a great actor. So, Picard.

- OMG, this is the hardest of them all! Two characters I love so much... but in the end, I guess still love Kira a bit more.
