Favorite battle moments in Star Trek?

one of the best battle moments would be during in thw wrath of khan when the two ships are blindly heading for each other the kirk suddenly relises what's going on and orders evasive.
when i first saw that sence i was thinking 'wonder if they will hit?'

balance of terror would be another good battle

what i like about the older battles is there was a measure of suspense in them unlike some of the later ds9 ones where it all seemed to be quick blow everything up. not that they were bad mind

I agree. There's something to be said about the nuance and pace of older battles. They were much more strategic and careful than the shoot-fest that was Nemesis.

Now, with that said, I luvs me some Defiant action

I loved what the CBS digital guys did for that battle with their remastering. Seeing the Big E vector in like a jet and fire phasers... oh so loved it.


And I don't know if you guys have seen this little nugget... it might seem weird at first, these aren't film quality FX, but it seems to be a fan effort from some people who are not shabby at all. There's more than Trek here but I'll let you be surprised.

Oh, and the link seems copied. If anyone knows the actual guy who's behind this I'd love a link... cause that guy deserves thanks.

It's a full lenght movie, a parody, Star Trek-Babylon 5 crossover. Absolutely brilliant.
