Favorite B5 character moments

I've always been embarrassed by thy fact that I completely missed the significance of why JMS gave the characters of Emperor Turhan and Prime Minister Malachi those names.

Since I don't know what you are talking about let me join you in said embarrassment.:shifty:

Emperor Turhan is played by the actor Turhan Bey.
PM Malachi is played by ... Malachi Throne.

It's made even worse by how I immediately recalled Throne's turn as Commodore Mendez in the classic Trek episode "The Menagerie" ..... and still didn't make the connection. Go figure. :p

It's sad we didn't get more of Emperor Turhan, because I enjoyed his soft-spoken portrayal that stood in such stark contrast to the normally bombastic Centauri portrayal.

Empire Strikes Back seen. Would have been funny to see the old guy say he was sheridan's baby daddy.

Thank you, Neroon, for clarifying WHY I should be embarrassed. Sadly, the rock cried out, "No hiding place!" and so my humiliation is exposed for all to see.;)

^That "No hiding place" scene is so goofy. Lord Refa getting chased down and killed, while everybody else is singing gospel in a Baptist church service. Hilarious.

That's why I like it... It's just discomforting enough to question if you should be laughing or feeling sorry for Refa finally getting his comeuppance. :techman: :alienblush:

Cheers,
