How about the "Worst of Both World's" from the comic books? It was fun seeing what might have happened if the events of "Best of Both Worlds" had gone down a different path.

^^But Requiem wasn't an alternate reality, was it? Picard was actually there in the past, just before Kirk's Enterprise arrived at Cestus. It was the same reality, but a hitherto unrevealed part of it.

I believe nine parts would be an ennealogy. A tetralogy is four parts.

Requiem may not be an alternate AU book but I still like it. And the DC comics Worst of both worlds I remember that series I thought it was really good.

I got all 3 of the MU tomes-and I liked every story in them. I seem to remember a (large) book about Scotty screwing up the universe via time travel that dealt with alternate realities but I can't remember the title-I'm awful that way. I read it during my lunches when I worked at Borders.
