Favorite '80s stuff?

Nor could I. I took a screwdriver to every Rubik's toy I owned.

(I had the 2, 3, and 4-cube-to-a-side versions. If there were any Rubikses that were bigger than that, I bet they took years to solve...)

There was also the "swap the colored stickers" option, but they'd fall off eventually.

My brother was a puzzle freak. He had all those different cubes and pyramid & dodecahedron versions, not to mention a boatload of other types of puzzles from that era.

Lemmings! That was a great game from the eighties.
The first Terminator.

The cubes are still very hot. There are world championships for cubes of all sizes from 2 to 7!
The speed at which they solve those is incredible!

Have to post this Number One song from the 1980's being as this is a Star Trek Board.

The California Raisins commercials... and a show called DC Follies. It was my introduction to politics when I was a kid. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of it went over my head, so watching it now would be like a totally different show.

I saw Roger Rabbit in the theater when I was eight, then saw it last year for the first time since then. And it felt like a totally different movie where, again, there were tons of things that went completely over my head when I was a kid.

I don't miss the 80's by any means but I see many good things in all areas of artistic creation that have been done back then. Great movies, music, books...

Who remembers ALF? I used to have a 45 (yes a 45!) of ALF singing different songs.

Hmmm. I think I might've been better off with just my memories... :p

But, then this was pretty good.

Real Throwback: I wanted to watch ALF. My father wanted to watch MacGyver, which was on the same time. So, we got two TVs because of this.
