Favorite 5 Aliens in Star Trek Enterprise

iliescu

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
There are a great alien species to recall in Season 3 of Star Trek Enterprise. Anyhow the favorite from first to least for here is.....
Change of Heart
1. Klingons
2. Borg
3. Vulcans
4. Cardassian
5. Ferengi

1. Xindi Insectoids
2. Xindi Primates
3. Xindi Aquatics
4. Xindi Arboreal
5. Xindi Reptilians

Arboreal and Aquatics sort of interchange as both are fine. Insectoids seem the best for advantages beyond any of the other species. Primates are closest to human so they are close second or even first too. Reptilians are cold and not a clue where to placement those so they are about the last of the favorite 5 aliens in Star Trek Enterprise. Feel free to post the list held in regard to self as well.....

1. Andorians
2. Aenar
3. Denobulans
4. Xyrillians
5. Xindi Arboreal

If count Aenar/Andorians as one, I will go Orion.

Andorians (because of Shran)
Xindi Reptillians (cliche eeeeeeevil)
Xindi Insectiods (yay CG!)
Suliban (I liked the concept even if the execution was weak)
Those "Silent Enemy" fellas (yay CG!)

1. Andorians.
2. The Silent Enemies.
3. That shape-shifting slug that Archer snogged on the Rogue Planet.
4. The jizz monster from Vox Sola.
5. The diggers from Terra Nova.

Man, Enterprise was not very good at introducing new alien species, was it?

I guess the Suliban are about it for me. They do deserve credit for finally developing the Andorians, Orion's, and the Tellarites.

I say they are pretty good as developing species that needed more development. After having just seen Season 4 and the mirror episodes, what they did with the Tholians was pretty incredible.

Yea, no clue if Discovery will bring them back or stuff. A great deal with those lots for certain.

Space Nazi species
Suliban (really like the make-up)
Xindi Insectoids (don't speak English)
Xindi Aquatics (don't speak English)
Andorians (great job expanding a established species)

Of course not. Those characters were already developed and established in TOS, but the crime ENT did, and DISC is doing the same f^cking thing, is rewriting what never needed to be rewritten. So when a person looks at that crap in perspective, its to say TOS got it all wrong and I will never accept that!

ENT should've been a clean canvas, no Klingons or Romulans or Andorians, Orions; create aliens closer to us but they're are reaching for the stars like we are. They could've sprinkled hints of things to come, but to dip into the old well on day 1 just showed Braga and Berman were in creative bankruptcy and pulling an Ira Behr and throwing sh*t at the wall and hoping it'll stick.

So far there is votes to [Xindi, Andorians, Suliban, Vulcans and Denobullins] the most to here.

It's hard to see how you feel that the Andorians, Orions, Tellarites could be considered developed during TOS.

We learned next to nothing about them during their respective brief appearances.

We never even saw what the Orions looked like, just one disguised as a Andorian.

Andorians. In general I'm not a fan of reinventing the look of alien species from show to show, but the update to the Andorians was well done, and I love the use of antennae to show the mood of the person.

The Silent Enemy aliens. Because I appreciate their having a slightly less humanoid appearance.

The Arkonians. Love the makeup job on these guys.

Denobulans. I like all the weird little alien touches they gave these guys, both physically and in their culture. Though I did think the expanding face thing was a bit over the top.

The Xindi. They never made a lot of sense as a single species to my mind, but I do like the idea of a species with a much wider variation than humans have.

That's just crap. (Enterprise reference) Enterprise did a wonderful job with traditional Trek species; especially the Andorians and didn't rewrite anything. Just because the Vulcan's weren't "Spock or Sarek" doesn't mean their take was bad or wrong. ENT played homage to TOS to a fault.

I do have an issue with the Klingons on DISC, but their creative choices do not reflect badly on TOS at all.

For this topic my choices are:

1. Andorians. ... Both visually and because of Jeffery Combs. (Shran)
2. Suliban. ... Visually unique and Silik is one of my favorite characters.
3. The unnamed alien in Silent Enemy. ... I was wanting more meeting like this.
4. Xindi
5. Aenar

1. Xindi-Reptilians
2. Orions
3. Andorians
4. Shroomies/Elachi/Vertians ("Silent Enemy)
5. Xindi-Insectoids

Honorable mentions: Arkonians, Suliban, Xindi-Aquatics, Na'kuhl ("Storm Front"), Xyrillians

Andorians
Gorn!
Xindi Reptilians
Tellarites
Orions

Next 5:
Suliban
Tholians
Organians
Skagarans
Axanar
