Fave Trek guest star?

^Yeah, if you're referring to 'Unification' in TNG, Leonard Nimoy certainly counts.

Any guest shot by a Trek regular in any series other than their own would count. So Brent Spiner in ENT, or Frakes in Voyager, or even Colm Meaney in TNG (he was never a regular cast member) would qualify as a guest role!

Jeffrey Combs, Louise Fletcher, Marc Alaimo, and Andy Robinson are all absolutely immaculate in their roles. More could not be expected from any actor than what they brought to their roles. Therefore I say they share a 4-way tie for best guest star.

I loved the role Jerry Hardin played in TNG ep "Times Arrow" pts 1 and 2, as Samuel L. Langhorne aka Mark Twain. Espically when he sees Worf on the Enterprise and yells "Wearwolf" still one of my favorite Trek scenes...

Whoever that guy was who did the voice of Armus and the Sheliak!

He deserved an Emmy for those roles.

Gotta go with Andrew Robinson.

Arguably the most popular character on DS9...and he was a guest star.

Theres too many to name, but the guy that plays LT. Reginald Barclay, just because "The Nth Degree" is one of my favorite episodes

Gotta give props to LT. Barclay. Just saw 'Hollow Pursuits' in S3.
He did a great job with that character. He had the total
Holodiction issues with the crew then saved the Enterprise there
in the end.

Favourite guest star for me is Jeffrey Combs, but then, he is my favourite living actor.

Second favourite is Andrew Robinson, even though Garak is my favourite Trek character.

Combs, Robinson and Alaimo are obvious, and talented.

The person I look forward to seeing the most is Scott MacDonald- such a variety of characters, done so well. :)

Clarence Williams III, Scott Haven, Phil Morris... huh... used to know all of these...
And the Cardassians - Ghemor, Marritza, Prim, Damar...

Even though he only had a small role (not to mention little speaking), I'd have to go with Tony Jay as Minister Campio in "Cost of Living." Though I must admit, even if he had monologued for 1/4th of the episode, that wouldn't have been enough.

I agree about Combs. He always elevated every episode he was in, whether he was playing Weyoun, Brunt, or even his one-shot character of that alien who has the hots for Kira. Someone else I loved in several roles was Tony Todd as Kurn and Jake Sisko. Mark Lenard was also excellent, always turning in a fascinating performance. I loved all of the Klingons in "Blood Oath" (John Kolicos, Michael Ansara, and Willaim Campbell) too, both in that episode, and their original series appearances. William Campbell was hilarious as Trelane too, but both as Trelane and Koloth, he just looked too friendly and polite to be a really evil bad guy! :)

I loved every episode featuring John De Lancie as Q, even on the detestable Star Trek Voyager, and Dwight Shultz was always wonderfully endearing as Barclay too. Ricardo Montalban was obviously an awesome guest star on the original series too. I think a few underrated guest stars were Batman's Yvonne Craig and Frank Gorshin, who were some of the highlights of Star Trek's lackluster third season, and Daniel Davis as Moriarty on The Next Generation - one of Star Trek's smartest, most eloquent, and most original villains! If I had to narrow it down to one pick, I think I'd have to go with John De Lancie, but I haven't seen all of Weyoun's episodes yet, so that may change when I do!
