I thought it was going to be the season finale, how many are left?
The ghost thing is neat but it’s one of those things that if they’re going to do it please scrap the “This is a true story” conceit.

That final scene with her was perfect. I loved the level of her self-confidence during the whole meeting, in the face of Loy's open disdain.
Gaetano's sudden and farcical death was such a Coen brothers death!
Yeah it was nice to see Nurse Murder taken away in a squad car while the whole family watched.
And also yes, the scene between Ethelrida and Loy was pure Coen Magic.
Can't wait to see how they wrap it all up.

At first, I thought the Cannon family was getting too good of a happy ending with Satchel coming home...and bam! Loy is stabbed to death on his porch. Yup, that's much more like what I expected.
Variety published an interview with Noah Hawley where he talks extensively about Mike Milligan and what happens to him in between season 4 and 2. The whole thing is worth the read where he also talks about filming the final two episodes after the long halt in production because of COVID and whether or not he's going to do a fifth season (as of right now, he's not sure).

I liked the final request "Shoot him first so I can watch."
But I also liked the race commentary on how after everything, he still got screwed, and then he just kind of surrendered accepting that in the 1950s he could never win more than keeping half.

Yup, that was a twisting of the knife that I expected and I'm glad the show didn't hide away from that reality.
