FAO 'Shippers: Please read

As regulars of the forum know, 'shipping has long been a contentious issue in this forum. Whilst the majority of 'shippers conduct themselves in a courteous and sensible manner towards other 'shipper groups, there are some who just cannot seem to restrain themselves from derailing threads with 'shipper discussions.

After countless MA threads, PMs, warnings (both "friendly" and official), those select 'shippers are still getting up to the same old tricks, and frankly, we've had enough of them grinding regular discussions to halt.

Therefore, effective immediately, all 'shipper discussion is to be kept to the appropriate 'shipper threads. We do not wish to punish those 'shippers who do behave themselves, and discussion can go on as normal in 'shipper threads. What we are asking is that you don't argue why you feel X would be better off with with Y in a thread that was not created for the purpose of 'shipper discussion. We feel that this course of action is in the best interests of the ENT community.

For those who ignore the above terms, appropriate moderator action will be taken. Those with a history of active participation in thread derailments for 'shipper discussion take note: from now on if you do this in a non-'shipper thread expect an official warning.

Any comments or concerns should be addressed to a moderator. Please keep it out of the forum.

The forum has seen a rise in the baiting and trolling among the various shippers again. It's been a continuous process that has gone on for years.

We know who the worst offenders are. TBonz is aware of who they are. Action is being taken.

Be aware, the trolling and games are going to stop, or there will be permanent consequences.

Re the 'shipper wars.

The behaviors stop, or you stop posting. It's that simple. I put two out on a one week ban and another person is getting an email from me today. The next step is tossed off of the board.

There is a small minority of 'shippers (not all, just a small group, this only affects those who can't seem to do this without making trouble) that can't seem to deal with these make-believe relationships without fighting each other in here. It has gone on since I was a mod in here.

It stops now. New poster or oldie, if you can't act like a reasonable human being in here, I will toss you. Two of you are on probation (the one returning today and the one returning tomorrow, as will be one who just went out for a week.)

A further note. Keep all fighting from other boards off of here. We have enough of our own issues without needing to import them.
