Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

WWII did happen in the Potter-verse. And Grindelwald, I think, wouldn't have had a problem using Muggles if it got him what he wanted.

Has the marketing for Fantastic Beasts been really light, or what? Grated, I don't have cable (where the majority of advertising hits me) but I do watch local channels nightly, and compared to, say, Doctor Strange, I've seen nothing--zip!--for Fantastic Beasts, whereas I can't escape Doc Strange promos.

Just an observation.

I kinda feel like Warner Bros. is sitting back and just banking on the movie to succeed because "it's Harry Potter." Since I want to see what Rowling has in store for this five-part story arc, I hope this approach doesn't backfire.

Why would they spend money advertising heavily the week that Dr Strange comes out? Why face the heavy competition? Better to let that movie come out and then hit us in the final two weeks.
