Fans of the new Flash TV series

I love the Flash, I loved the early years of Glee, I watched the clip, I didn't laugh. What do I win?

Didn't laugh too.

It's well known that Gustin had a part in Glee and we even saw him sing (well) in Flash (one of my favorite scenes in the show so far, especially the aftermath of their club night).

Though that song was just plain bad and i was a fan of Glee for its first two seasons (which are still awesome to this day) and especially the Warblers who had much cooler appearances than this one.

I've seen that clip before. I think it was on one of the sci-fi sites I follow (either Tor or io9), and they were talking about a musical episode of Flash. I don't see what's so laughable about it. Lots of actors do musicals, and quite a few were on Glee over the years.

Glee was, on average, a hundred times better than that awful Green Arrow show.

(By "that Green Arrow show", I mean post S3 Smallville, of course. I love Glee and Arrow both, for their respective strengths.)

Its amazing how different Arrow and The Flash are from Smallville. I remember fans of SV hoping there would be a Green Arrow spin off while SV was still on the air. But he became less interesting the longer he was on that show.

No efforts the Smallville producers made at spin offs or other DC shows worked. Birds of Prey only lasted 13 episodes. Aquaman, never went beyond a pilot. It was revealing there that they recast AC. Even though they brought the original actor back once Hartley was cast as GA, they obviously did not think the other guy could carry a series. Otherwise that Aquaman pilot would have been an obvious in continuity spin off.

I had no idea he was on Glee I have never watched it. I found that out from an IMDB post where someone said "we cant have a gay flash" to which someone replied with that. It was probably that context that made it funny.

This is also pretty cool...

The current Barry Allen's dad was Barry Allen in the 90's...

John Wesley Shipp went from being Barry to being Henry...

Because only gay people enjoy Glee? :vulcan:

(FWIW, pretty much the first thing Grant Gustin's character on the show says is that he's "not even remotely bi-curious.")

I missed those shows when Grant was on (or if i did, it certainly didn't click later on).

But a PERFECT scene would be Barry humming that song, and then Caitlin asking what he was humming, and he'd say "Something i sung in high school".
