Fan made Star Trek Trailer on youtube

Wasting time on youtube today I came across this fan made trailer: "Star Trek: The Beginning." I found their representation of the Enterprise to be excellent. I like the 1701 version in the new Trek movie, but sometimes when I see what fans produce on their own, I sometime wish the Enterprise had not been modified. I don't know if anything has come of the trailer, but it looked nice.

Fan films take a lot of flak, but I for one like them in general. This looks real nice.

It might not be an indication of something to come. It just a stand lone trailer.
