Star Trek - Dark Armada. Set in 2380. Still in production, trailers are up:

Fantastic trailer! You guys seem to really understand how to cut a trailer together. It's not perfect, but it's very close. Can't wait to see what comes of it.
Star Trek: Intrepid was a little lackluster in its trailer. There seemed to be problems with the sound (dialogue seemed to jump in and out). It started out good, but then lost its footing. I'm not quite sure what they're mission is from that trailer, either. I think you guys should pick better clips for the trailer and cut it together a little closer. Just my humble opinion. By the way, did I spot, on the veiwscreen, that actress who plays Shelby on
Hidden Frontier? Nah. What are the chances, right?
Star Trek: Vixen is just unacceptable. Blocky characters who's lips don't move? No, no, no. That won't do at all.
Star Trek: Exeter – "THE TRESSAURIAN
INTERSECTION" is by far the best of the bunch. First, let me start with the issues that I do have with it:
1) The title music isn't that "heart-wrenching" to me. It just doesn't grab me.
2) I can't download these to my computer and view it as they should be viewed (full screen).
With that said, let's be on with the comments:
Were's the rest? This production is done so well that I thought I was watching an official episode. There have been huge improvements since the last episode and I can't be happier about that. Let it be known that this is the second fan film production that I'm actually anticipating a future episode (New Voyages came first).
Star Trek: Exeter – "THE Savage Empire" Initially, when I watched this many months ago, I didn't like it. My main issue was with that Andorian, Lieutenant B'Fuselek (played by Joshua Caleb). Strangely enough, my issue with him is now non-existent. On second viewing, I find that the actor did a decent job with what he was given. However, I still do not like his facial expressions. And Andorians don't hunker, Ferengi do.
Commander Jo Harris (played by Holly Guess), on the other hand, needs a bit of tweeking. Something about her acting seemed a bit empty.
Ensign Vandi Richards (played by Elizabeth Wheat) is a character that can easily become a favorite. There's just something about her Data-like impressions that make her a joy to watch.
Captain John Quincy Garrovick (played by James Culhane). Now this guy is a little difficult to cheer for. When I watch him, it's like I'm watching Captain Jonathan Archer from Season 2. Assertive, but still missing the essence of what makes a great captain.
As for
Commander Paul Cutty (played by Michael Buford), unfortunately, he just comes off as average. A transporter chief, if you will.
Okay, so what was up with that Godzilla-screaming Barney monster on steroids? I hope you don't do that again. The Klingon Lieutenant (played by Kegan Bader) watching the Captain and his officer made a comment I found to be odd. He referred to the captain as a dog. But a Klingon wouldn't say "silence dog," a Klingon would say "silence targ."
Speaking of Klingons,
Commander Chang (played by Nathan Wolf) does an excellent job. He easily gets the best lines:
"Guard, watch the prisoners until I retern. But do not listen to what they say. These earth men are full of deceit." – how ironic and unbelievably hypocritical for a Klingon.
And my favorite:
"Medicine! The medicine is for the week. We Klingons have no need for [ILLEGIBLE]. The strong survive, while the vulnerable and sick pass on into oblivion." CLASSIC!
I noticed in Act 2, during a phaser fight between the Captain, Commander Cutty and an unseen adversary, a phaser hits the rock the Captain and the Commander have taken cover behind. But the phaser doesn't destroy the rock. It doesn't even leave a mark!
I've also noticed that the punching sound effects are seriously muffled. These need work.
I look forward to more episodes from this crew.
