STARFLEET RANGER OUTPOST - ENCHANTIA STATION
The year is 2105, aboard Starfleet's newly christened military Headquarters and Training facility, "Enchantia Station", located north of the newly colonized and rapidly expanding Martian Colony. Following the success of the mining colony Orpheus, The Martian Colony was the second outpost to be established by Starfleet, only this time not just for mining, but will include exploration, first contact and assistance with the protection of the various Earth transport ships throughout the system. The Starfleet Rangers Headquarters' and Training Academy, was established at the colony which prompted Starfleet to station two X class vessels, the USS Einstein-X101 an Exploration and Medical Ship and the USS NightBlade-X102 a state of the art Warship, along with a small makeshift Drydock repair station in orbit around the planet, the crew jokingly call the Utopia Planitia Shipyard. They are maintained and manned by a mix of seasoned Vets and Ranger Academy Recruits. These measures were taken to help the colony defend itself, and to also act as Earth's first line of defense in the event of a hostile alien attack. The station quickly became Earth's first true interstellar tradingpost and jumping off point for human ships making there way into the final frontier. Starfleet's ongoing mission has introduced Enchantia Station to several races and even many deadly threats. As such, defenses must be available, but not at the expense of exploration, the Enchantia Station is designed to walk that thin line. The ships are equipped with Warp 3 engine, 3 phase cannons, and the other normal equipment of an early X class vessel. Although Humans have made significant headway into unexplored space, Earth still does not have the full confidence of the Vulcans nor has it established itself as a leader race within the galaxy. The Federation does not yet exist and Starfleet is still a new endeavor. The transporters are totally unreliable. The universal translator requires a real person behind it. Numerous races of this area are still unknown. The adventure is just ahead. The final frontier is still in front of us and a real-life facility gives our film and fans a chance to truly explore this concept, and to develop, and live a character in an actual Starfleet setting.

Any questions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Star Ship - The Original Generation

http://www.Furnation.com/Woulfe/TheMovies/

a Star Trek parody done useing 'The Movies' as well as useing fan made CGI shots from around here for 'Stock Footage'

Basicly it's a 'machinima' but due to the limitations of 'The Movies' can't do a whole lot of stuff that you'd normaly see in Trek, so I desided to make the episodes short, like Looney Tunes cartoons short, and because i'm still learning what 'The Movies' can do & can't do some scenes will be missing due to not being able to do it or due to time, namely if the episode in running close to the 7 1/2 min mark, i'll just cut to the chase & end the episode, even if it means it won't be a logical ending.

'The Movies' is a game were you run a movie studio & as a bonus you can make 'machinima' useing the game, and because one of the sets looked really familure to me I desided to make a Trek parody that i've been working on & off over the years.

It started as a parody of all sci-fi back in 1970 called 'Take Me To Your Leader, Or Else' which I did w/ a few friends on cassett tape, later on when I saw Trek in reruns the name changed to the unPC name 'Star Streak' which also went into spin-off parodies, it became just a Trek parody during this time.

Once Enterprise ended the name Star Streak was dropped like a rotten egg, eeww, the name then became Star Ship and I awaited 'The Movies' release so I could start working on it and starting from scratch with it once again.

I did a few test films in 'The Movies' that are on the website, just so I could get a feel for what was possible, how to dress everyone in Trek like costumes and so forth.

Due to feedback on 'The Movies Online' I dropped voice-overs as folks didn't seem to 'get' my Shat-ner-ize-ing, I figured only fans would 'get' the joke ;)

I also did a Music Video, set to ~ Star Trekkin' ~ of all things, it was hard to time it right as the song was added later in M$MM & it shows in the video when you watch it.

It did help me learn how to edit video clips together better, so some useful things came from it ;)

Once I was confident enough to tackle an Episode, I just went for it. The episode was titled 'Take Me To Your Leader, Or Else' as a tribute to the shows roots.

Took ages as the game kept crashing to the desktop, so I ended up splitting the episode into many parts & then merging the parts into M$MM into a whole episode that runs nearly 7 1/2 mins, which was the goal.

Now i'm working on the 2nd episode, and M$MM doesn't seem to like to merge it together now, typical, so the episode is being put up as I work on it, oh well.

I made the opening credits so I won't need to make them over & over for each episode, helps to have 'em premade.

Anyway, Comments, Feedback, Ect are welcomed. Even episode ideas are welcomed also. Should make a page for that on the site, if I only knew how tho'.

Star Trek - Dark Armada. Set in 2380. Still in production, trailers are up: www.darkarmada.nl

Fantastic trailer! You guys seem to really understand how to cut a trailer together. It's not perfect, but it's very close. Can't wait to see what comes of it.

Star Trek: Intrepid was a little lackluster in its trailer. There seemed to be problems with the sound (dialogue seemed to jump in and out). It started out good, but then lost its footing. I'm not quite sure what they're mission is from that trailer, either. I think you guys should pick better clips for the trailer and cut it together a little closer. Just my humble opinion. By the way, did I spot, on the veiwscreen, that actress who plays Shelby on Hidden Frontier? Nah. What are the chances, right?

Star Trek: Vixen is just unacceptable. Blocky characters who's lips don't move? No, no, no. That won't do at all.

Star Trek: Exeter – "THE TRESSAURIAN
INTERSECTION"
is by far the best of the bunch. First, let me start with the issues that I do have with it:

1) The title music isn't that "heart-wrenching" to me. It just doesn't grab me.

2) I can't download these to my computer and view it as they should be viewed (full screen).

With that said, let's be on with the comments:
Were's the rest? This production is done so well that I thought I was watching an official episode. There have been huge improvements since the last episode and I can't be happier about that. Let it be known that this is the second fan film production that I'm actually anticipating a future episode (New Voyages came first).

Star Trek: Exeter – "THE Savage Empire" Initially, when I watched this many months ago, I didn't like it. My main issue was with that Andorian, Lieutenant B'Fuselek (played by Joshua Caleb). Strangely enough, my issue with him is now non-existent. On second viewing, I find that the actor did a decent job with what he was given. However, I still do not like his facial expressions. And Andorians don't hunker, Ferengi do.

Commander Jo Harris (played by Holly Guess), on the other hand, needs a bit of tweeking. Something about her acting seemed a bit empty.

Ensign Vandi Richards (played by Elizabeth Wheat) is a character that can easily become a favorite. There's just something about her Data-like impressions that make her a joy to watch.

Captain John Quincy Garrovick (played by James Culhane). Now this guy is a little difficult to cheer for. When I watch him, it's like I'm watching Captain Jonathan Archer from Season 2. Assertive, but still missing the essence of what makes a great captain.

As for Commander Paul Cutty (played by Michael Buford), unfortunately, he just comes off as average. A transporter chief, if you will.

Okay, so what was up with that Godzilla-screaming Barney monster on steroids? I hope you don't do that again. The Klingon Lieutenant (played by Kegan Bader) watching the Captain and his officer made a comment I found to be odd. He referred to the captain as a dog. But a Klingon wouldn't say "silence dog," a Klingon would say "silence targ."

Speaking of Klingons, Commander Chang (played by Nathan Wolf) does an excellent job. He easily gets the best lines:

"Guard, watch the prisoners until I retern. But do not listen to what they say. These earth men are full of deceit." – how ironic and unbelievably hypocritical for a Klingon.

And my favorite: "Medicine! The medicine is for the week. We Klingons have no need for [ILLEGIBLE]. The strong survive, while the vulnerable and sick pass on into oblivion." CLASSIC!

I noticed in Act 2, during a phaser fight between the Captain, Commander Cutty and an unseen adversary, a phaser hits the rock the Captain and the Commander have taken cover behind. But the phaser doesn't destroy the rock. It doesn't even leave a mark!

I've also noticed that the punching sound effects are seriously muffled. These need work.

I look forward to more episodes from this crew.

2) I can't download these to my computer and view it as they should be viewed (full screen).

Little trick for you people wanting to save this to you hard drive for later viewing pleasure. Once QT has cached the whole episode go to "tools, internet options". Under temporary internet files click "settings", then click "view objects". Once there sort the files by size and, generally, the episode you just got will be the largest one. Just right click on it, choose copy and paste it somewhere on your hard drive that's easy to remember and there you go!

There are also links where it is available for download but, I do not have them handy at the moment. There is also, umm another umm, oh forget it. I must remember where I am.

Mozilla doesn't have this feature. I checked IE just in case, and they still weren't there.

Just to let everyone know the reason I stopped makeing episodes of 'Star Ship' is holidays, as soon as I recover from the holidays i'll be back at the grindstone, I promise ;)

I'm just kinda wiped out over xmas & new years is this weekend and I know i'll be wiped out from that, so basicly this is the show's holiday break, and new episodes are forthcoming in Jan after new years is done and over with.

In other words don't worry that there hasn't been a new episode in awhile....

http://www.Furnation.com/Woulfe/TheMovies/Movies.htm
Have a few tests & a few actual episodes in the can....
The show was done useing 'The Movies' game, so it's basicly Machinima whithout haveing to buy all these expencive 3D software programs, just had to buy 'The Movies' and use my mic for voices. That about covers it for the most part.

Here's is another one for you.

ARTICLES OF THE FEDERATION
Based of the awesome novel of the same name by Keith R.A CanDido, Articles of the Federation looks at one of the more mysterious ideas of the Federation: It's politics. Centering on the staff of the Federation President Nanietta Bacco, Articles of the Federation is a fresh take on the mythos of Star Trek and shot entirely in CGI.

Currently in the very early development stages, "Articles" is currently looking for animators, writers, web designers, the whole lot. If your interested please email Mike at:

EntilZha_Valen@hotmail.co.uk

For a list of characters and ideas floating around at the moment. If you like Star Trek and if you like The West Wing, you'll want to keep an eye out for this.

~ Mike.
