Ahem...

Star Trek: New Voyages
The continuing mission of the original U.S.S. Enterprise. From the mission statement:
...New Voyages is not the Trek of the 60's. It is the Trek of the future; a Trek that looks as modern and flows as fast as any action adventure show on TV today.
Have two episodes out so far, second one a large improvement over the first in all regards.

Episodes three and four being written by Deep Space Nine writers Ethan Calk and Jack Trevino, and Star Trek writer D.C. Fontana, respectively. Episode four will also feature Walter Koenig reprising his role of Chekov.

Their website is here.

**********************

Starship Exeter
The new mission of the USS Exeter NCC-1706 under Captain Garrovick and First Officer Jo Harris. Also takes place in the Original Series timeframe. So far have released one episode, and have a second one due out July 1st.

Their website is here.

**********************

Star Trek: Hidden Frontier
The adventures of Starfleet exploring the Briar Patch, the gaseos region first shown in Star Trek: Insurrection. Will withhold other details due to potential spoilers.

Currently in their sixth season. That's 36 episodes so far (), so you have plenty to keep you busy. They film 99.9% of their stuff in green-screen, which explains the awesome sets, effects, and green lines around everyones hair. ;)

Their website is here.

Other Fan Films
These are some other fan films, most of which are still in production, and haven't released any episodes yet. Feel free to add.

Star Trek: Intrepid - TNG Era crew.
Star Trek: USS Hathaway - Constellation class ship in the Movie Era ().
Star Trek: Lexington - Movie Era Constitution class ship.
Star Trek: Vixen - CGI'd series in TOS era.
The Constellation Project - Unique "what-it" movie, imagining if Star Trek were a 1950's sci-fi movie (think Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow).

If I missed any (I'm sure I did), please add!

Wow. There are quite a lot that I haven't explored yet, then. Looks like I'm going to have a busy next few weeks! :D

Don't forget "Tale of the Seventh Fleet" :D

Right now all the stroies involve the USS Justice, a Saladin (upgrade) class destroyer in the post TUC/Generations movie era. However, as more people become interested, we plan on producing stories about other ships and crews in all Trek time periods.

Check us out and let me know what you think.

Mods.
Can we pin this? It's the perfect thread to help navigate all the great fan films out there.
Thanks.

Star Trek: U.S.S. Hathaway

To fill in some detail above, is a fan film based on the above mentioned ship, a Constellation class starship. The Hathaway was first seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation in the second season episode "Peak Performance". In the 24th Century she was at the end of her career. The fan series goes back to the beginning of this ship's story and begins in 2285, the launch date of the ship. The pilot episode "Genesis" takes place six weeks after the events in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. It deals with the aftermath and political fallout of the "Genesis Controversey".

The crew includes:

Captain Jeffery Pierce (human male)
Commander Lara Maximillian (Orion female raised by humans, first officer)
Lieutenant R'Meera (1/2 Caitian 1/2 human female, science officer and pilot participant in the new concept of "ship's counselor")
Chief Engineer Susan Mirsky (human female)
Commander Michael Sinclair (human male, tactical officer)
Doctor Vorzok (Vulcan male)
Ensign Ameline Des Jardins (Communications)
Ensign Roger "Skip" Donovan (Helm, the "cocky young pilot")

Release date has yet to be determined but it should be before the end of 2005.

Star Trek: Lexington

Star Trek: Lexington

Brief decription for the Star Trek: Lexington series:

The year is 2287 and the Probe crisis is over. Due to a heating up of the Cold War between the Federation and the Klingons, the decommissioned Lexington is re-activated and brought back into service under her old captain with a new crew.

Series note: The series actually starts on their second mission, as the first is a novel and would be very hard to film. More information on the series itself can be found on the Lexington's website.

Here is the quick roster for the crew:
Commanding officer:
Captain Alex McKnight (Human)

Chief Engineer & Executive Officer:
Captain William "Bill" Gee (Human)

Communications Officer:
Commander Angelica McKnight (Human / Romulan)

Helmsman:
Lieutenant Commander Jason Lee (Human)

Chief Medical Officer:
Lieutenant Commander Dawn Mathias (Human)

Chief Science Officer:
Lieutenant Commander Saavik (Vulcan / Romulan)

Navigator:
Lieutenant Valentina Chekovitch (Human)

As a note, we will be running near-concurrently with the U.S.S. Hathaway group's timeline. Release date is unknown, due to re-organization, but we're aiming for summer, 2006 for an Internet release. If you're interested in helping out, check our website for information!

Re: Star Trek: Lexington

The Constellation Project

"Star Trek Constellation" is meant to be a 90 minute feature film that simulates a fun scenario. What if Star Trek had been a sci-fi film originall created in 1954, but never made? We're basing the look, feel, and story on this, but built to modern production standards, and written as though to "fit" with TOS's established history. For story purposes (and our preferences) "Enterprise" is not included in our history.

The year is 2245, and the Klingons launch a deadly offensive. Can Captain Decker and the crew of the Constellation save the United Federation?

We're at VERY early stages of pre-production, and we need a lot of help. We're located in the midwest, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Our website, also linked above is

Star Trek Vixen

Vixen is more-or-less a spinoff CGI series of Constellation. It follows the crew of the starship Vixen, starting in 2247. Vixen has been rather slow to develop, as it requires voice actors that will be reliable. If you'd like to volunteer, please visit the Constellation Project website.

Oh, and...

Seventh Fleet rules!

Re: Wait There's More!...

Here's another called Crossed Galaxies
Introduction

When the Yuuzhan Vong from Star Wars' New Jedi Order book series invade the Star Trek galaxy, it is up to Captains Janeway and Picard, along with their respective ships and crews Voyager and the Enterprise-E, to try and stop the invasion, along with some help from familiar faces, on either side. But does the Federation have what it takes?

I realize this maybe alittle off topic, but it was brought up and new action was taken on this "warning". :)

So.....
Gold Grizzly explained his Mod scifi1 judgement:
scifi1's posts since the warning do appear to indicate that this was a genuine misunderstanding about the rules, rather than a willful breach.

Therefore, warning rescinded.
