Fan films that mash mythologies

Fan films have been surprisingly pure but I know of two fan film projects that mash up several franchises.

There is Doctor Who: Alternate Empire by Julian Bane which is not only a Star Wars Crossover, but references Star Trek, Green Lantern, Harry Potter etc

Then taking things a step further is Star Trek: Unity, a Star Trek fan film that mixes in Doctor Who, Stargate, Star Wars and other mythologies:

The diference here is they take the Time Lords and Stargates and make them part of the Star Trek 'Iconians', ancient beings who created time travel gateways. Like the Guardian of Forever

There's stuff like 'Invasion: The Battle For Earth' and other crossover bits around but does anyone know of any more? I'd love to see a proper 'kitchen sink' of mythologies done in a fan flick.

I'll leave you with this: http://www.trekbbs.com/threads/babyl...-beyond.281114

I always liked the approach in Star Trek: The Section 31 Files, which kept vaguely hinting that Mak was a Time Lord without quite confirming it (until, arguably, the final episodes of the original series and the battle with the Daleks).

Oh yes of course, I forgot that one! Daleks vs Borg. A dream come true.

Star Wreck: In The Pirkinning is a parody mashup of Star Trek and Babylon 5. It can be pretty goofy but the fact that it was made by just a bunch of people using crowdsourcing makes it all the more awesome to me. They are also the dudes who made the feature film Iron Sky, which I really respect for it's craziness.

Even if you don't want to sit through the whole film, you should check out these edits of the space battles, using only Star Trek and Babylon 5 soundtrack music. The change of music makes it feel like the Mirror Universe is invading the Babylon 5 universe and it is brutal

There is also a little bit of Star Wars in Star Wreck, the space station is from the old canon.

They also re-released Star Wrek a few years later on DVD without any of the Star Trek/Babylon 5 ship designs so they could sell it.

Star Trek vs Star Wars vs BSG vs Farscape vs Mass Effect vs Andromeda crossover:

The guy who made this did it for the opening of StarCON 2016 in Russia.
In the video description he wrote "Pew, Pew, Pew", which about sums this up pretty well :)

The same guy did a CGI movie back in 2012 where the Federation take on the Cylons:

I forgot a very good movie era film (just after ST6) which crosses with Star Wars, A Tale of Two Galaxies:

^^ has it all as one video and includes the last half of part 2. :)

I have to say that I'm a little insulted for the Connie at the idea that she could be hurt by the blasters on a Tie-Fighter. IMO, Vader should have been the *only* thing that made that an even fight at all - and he didn't even do what he would have needed to for that. But I enjoyed it a lot, anyway. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. :techman:

Oh, the bad memories of YouTube back in the days of the 10-minute limit, where you had to break everything up into chunks... :p
