I just got a note from the showrunner of Star Fleet Academy, Christian Kern, reminding me that they expect to have it up on Vimeo this fall, and that English subtitles will follow before the end of the year. Sadly, Chris Kern was insulted by the fact that I did not treat his deadlines as hard deadlines. I apologize to him, glad to hear he's going to be on time. In my defense, I point out only that he has taken his obligations to his fan film more seriously than JJ Abrams has taken his responsibilities to Paramount. I could not read the whole note because there is something wrong with my Facebook interface.
