Fan Film Friday

This time around, Fan Film Friday reviews what was considered a "lost episode" that was re-discovered by John Carrigan (who plays Captain Kirk's Klingon nemesis Kargh) and released last week.

Phase II continues a record of producing excellent Star Trek episodes, even though this one is only 9 minutes long. Still, it has a clever "reveal" at the end that's worth waiting for.

This week, let's take a look at a computer-generated Star Trek episode that focuses on civilians in that universe, particularly human Captain Kara Carpenter (no, not the singer; that would be Karen) and her Vulcan first mate, T'Ling, in a tiny and almost outdated ship named the Aurora.

It's not easy making a living as a cargo ship crew doing business in a dangerous sector of the quadrant.

Enjoy!

The weekend is almost here, so it's time for another edition of Fan Film Friday. This week, we take a look at a live-action adventure that's based on the Justice League Unlimited animated TV series.

The story focuses on Green Lantern John Stewart, who pays a terrible price for being a super-hero, but Superman and Batman try to bring him back into action to battle Sinestro, GL's deadliest foe.

Enjoy!

Better late than never, this week's Fan Film Friday review is now available at this link: http://www.fanfilmfollies.com/featu...unity-warriors-of-qonos-and-a-good-day-to-die.

In this review, FFF looks at a two-part episode from The Further Adventures of Star Trek: Unity that puts the crew of the U.S.S. Odyssey in conflict with Klingon factions on the Qo'nos home world. Can Captain Lewis, Jimb'a and Eleanor discover the secret of Kahless, or will agents from the house of Duras finish the quest first?

Enjoy!

It's the most wonderful time of the year once again, and Fan Film Friday is celebrating with not one, not two, but THREE vignettes to help you get in the holiday spirit!

First up is a clash between the Enterprise D and the Grinch! Can the Federation crew stop him from stealing Christmas? Second is a music video homage to all five Trek series, and the final vignette shows what happens when Spock actually smiles on Christmas Eve!

They can be found here: http://www.fanfilmfollies.com/fan-film-follies/star-trek-merry-christmas

Merry Christmas to one and all, with best wishes from Fan Film Friday!
