Fan Film Friday

Star Wars: Broken Allegiance is the title of the live-action independent production reviewed in this week's Fan Film Friday column.

It's an excellent addition to George Lucas's epic adventure that focuses on two of Darth Vader's apprentices who are trying to escape from the Sith Lord and become free of the Empire.

Enjoy!
That was the first \star \wars fan film I have watched. It was surprisingly good. It was actually more enjoyable than some of the movies

Mine too. I remember enjoying it very much.

I'm glad you both enjoyed it. I liked it too, but it took me 10 years to find and watch it. Sigh.

While attending Balticon in northern Maryland over the Memorial Day weekend, I attended the "Independent Short Film Festival" and saw several interesting productions. One of the most interesting was Dr. Grordbort Presents: 'The Deadliest Game,' so I decided to review it this week, though I was kinda slow pulling it together.

Nevertheless, here's the link for this "retro sci-fi" adventure: http://www.fanfilmfollies.com/fan-film-follies/dr-grordbort-presents-the-deadliest-game

Enjoy!

Sorry I didn't have a post last week. Someone passed me a bug that had my nose in full faucet mode and I felt like I had an anvil on top of my head. Thanksfully, some antibiotics helped clear it up.

This week, I took a look at Batman: "Death Wish," an independent production that found its inspiration in the 1990s run of Batman titles from DC Comics.

Someone is trying to kill all the kingpins of crime in Gotham City! Can Batman and Robin solve the mystery, even when the clues point to one of their own?

As always, enjoy!

Randy, I know it has been a few months, but regarding the Star Trek Unity "Fifth Element"/"Doomsday" trilogy of episodes, I'm still in the process of editing that and you'll be free to review that in due course. :)

I'm writing this post to let everybody know that I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth. Right now, I'm having severe financial problems, so I haven't been able to do any reviews lately. I hope that things will work out soon so I can go back to writing Fan Film Friday.

Just FYI.
