Fan re-edits of "Trek" episodes: Is this the forum for it?
Hello everyone. I posed this question in the "Fan Productions" sticky thread and Mallory suggested that I start a thread on the subject here. So here goes:
[shameless_plug]
I have been working on and off for the past few years on a re-imagining of the visual effects from the classic Star Trek episode "The Doomsday Machine" (long before CBS Home Video did their "Remastered" episodes in syndication). When I've had new work to post I've announced it on Trek BBS in the Art Forum, but sadly this forum isn't nearly as trafficked as the other fora, and darnit, I've worked hard on this crap and want as many eyeballs on it as possible!
[/shameless_plug]
So what do you think? Do fan re-edits and re-imaginings of canon Star Trek episodes and movies fall into the "Fan Productions" category?
Oh yeah, one more [shameless_plug]:
