First episode done a great job of re-establishing the various plots and character traits.

It's weird, when I saw the exploding heads in this episode, I thought "shouldn't there be more blood?" I mean, there was less blood than we see whenever heads explode on The Boys.

But yeah, premiere was a great episode. The scene near the beginning with the Ghoul killing those thugs as Bir Iron played might well be one of the best action scenes I've watched all year.

Good first episode, weird we didn't see Maximus at all.

Yeah, but I'm kind of glad they didn't. The episode was already juggling so many different storylines that adding another one might have just been to much for one episode.
