The gotcha could be even worse - there's a reason why the humans have to agree to put the harness back on the kids - such as, the invading aliens are the losing army of a battle against a truly horrific foe, that will just bulldozer Earth and gobble it up for fuel a la the Doomsday Machine. The kids need to be transmogrified into skitters in order to fight off this far worse menace, which will appear just in time for the season ending cliffhanger.

Have you also been watching the Walking Dead series on AMC? Many of the themes IMO parallel Walking dead in Falling skies.

*small band of people working against global crisis
*emotional components between characters
*clues along the way to cause and effect of global pandemic.

etc.

Maybe it's just me as a big Walking Dead fan but I feel like I'm watching with Falling Skies a rinse repeat of the show except replace Zombies with aliens.

Difference being is that Walking Dead is a loyal adaptation of comic book series that has been running for th last seven years, and falling Skies might have no fucking idea where they're going next.

I guess the term "Massholes" went away when all the cars stopped running. Too bad, I thought that was a term ripe to break into the national lexicon.

I'll do my best. :D Does it refer specifically to Massachusetts drivers? (Look at me, I spelled that right in just two guesses.)

The term refers to ONLY THE FINEST driving talent we have here. It's a badge of honor to some (like the gentleman with the giant "MASSHOLE" tag in his rear window who passed me today) :)

:rommie: My brother in law's originally from Boston so I've heard all about the legendary feats of Boston drivers. He even gave me a Boston Driver's Handbook once - hilarious!

Yep - love it. Falling Skies isn't at that level, but who knows, they might get there yet.
