Got to the point he couldn't even say the final "k" sound without slurring, and....)

The story is about how Kirk leaves Starfleet for a two-year Mormon mission but is hit by a landing shuttlecraft. When he awakens, he finds himself in 1973 as a NASA pilot and has to deal with how different everything is.
