fake or real christmas tree

I don't have a tree or any decorations.

Christmas is one day long as far as I am concerned.

Says a guy with both a holiday avatar and username :rommie:

They are both clearly anti-christmas :p
While that argument can be made the opposite is just as easy to make; Christmas is a lonely time for a lot of people -hence the ol' most suicides occur during this particular season -perhaps your avatar just tells us to not forget anyone during the holidays. The name contains the word "bah" which (during this season) is most commonly connected with a guy who ends up becoming the most christmassy person that ever lived. :vulcan:

Damn it Dane, don't make me boil you with your own pudding and bury you with a stake of holly through your heart :klingon:

My job here is done :p

*Waiting for my wings*

One thing I will say about a real tree...if you hang onto it and let it dry out, it'll fucking explode in a bonfire!

Real tree all the way, and for as long as I can. The scent, the look, the environmental advantages, the fun of picking one out and cutting it down at a tree farm .... I love it. Ideally, I'd like to get one with a root ball and plant it afterwards, but that's not much of an option for us financially.

I like that image: really christmassy :bolian:

But tell me; what sort of tree is that? -I don't recognize it as being one I've ever seen as a christmas tree!

In Denmark the traditional christmas tree is the Norway Spruce, but as it has a tendency to loose the leaves and is a very compact tree the Nordmann Fir (despite the three times higher price) has enjoyed a rise in popularity over the last few decades and is today the most popular (Of course it is a very beautiful tree).
