A nice 3 maybe 3 1/2 hour version would be very acceptable.

I'm always in favor of extended editions as long as the theatrical cut is still available. I'm still waiting for the theatrical cut of TMP.
That said, for this movie I'd love every scene that could possibly fit and any that don't available to view separately.

Only if the theatrical cut is also included. I'm all for deleted scenes, and extended cuts are fine, but the reason I'm buying the thing is because I liked what I saw in the theater.
It came out on Tuesday, but you have to buy five other movies to get it.
