Was it the new updates from Microsoft part of the problem? I hate them pushing them out so fast. They forced one onto mine, thankfully it came out ok, but now they're trying to force yet another one.

Wow. That's terrible. I hate when companies screw updates up. The most recent ones seem like real mess ups.

Yup. I've got one of the CPUs (Athlon 64 X2 5400+) that the recent update doesn't play nicely with. I haven't gotten any of the supposed fixes to work so it looks like I'm going to spend the next few days pulling stuff off the drive and reinstalling 7 and all my programs.

Damn. That's horrible. I have an AMD quad core on my end and I'm really concerned that it won't play nice with it either. It's an AMD Radeon HD 6520G. Sooo... I'm going to be backing things up.

I don't even have a choice in reinstalling as I don't even know how to go about it. I'm afraid I'd screw things up. >_< I'm decent computer wise, but that is something that I'd have to practice first.
