Explain your Av!

I do use variations of him on Holidays and special occasions, most of them made by Spiff. And I've also got a ton of Photoshops that people have made over the years, especially in a wondrous Thread we once had that was called something like "Photoshop RJDiogenes Head."

I remember doing a couple of those.

Mine is some of the characters from my comic strip "Lost: TrekBBS" , me, Trippy, Mr. EMH, Froggie, poohka, RJD, doubleohfive, Brohi, Jeeves Melchington, Super Grover, Akiraprise, BearsDiscoverFire, Gertch, Mutenroshi, Mr. Cellophane, ElimParra, rbrodinsky, bro, ArtemisUnstable, and Neeka Keet. Didn't realize how many I had in there until I had to type them all out.

Simple. This is me standing next to a little boy dressed in my firefighter gear at a cub scout meeting.

Mine is a couple of guys from some show called "Star Trek". I may have to watch that one of these days. Sounds interesting.

I was actually thinking of changing it.

Is it sad that I sat there and watched your av, hoping that my little character would appear at some point in the sequence? :shifty:

I've been wearing my default av - its Ed from Cowboy Bebop. I've had a handful of other avatars over the years, but Ed has gotten the most wear and I think most posters here associate me with that image, or to a lesser extent, the borg pony I sported for a bit.

Mine is Agent Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks. I've considered changing it from time to time, but It has a little sentimental value, and I also don't want to confuse anyone who may know me from seeing my av.

I thought he was a tomato - I even did a limerick for you for the commie lounge - now I will have to rework it for a goofy grape!
Aw, man, I had no idea. You should have told me. Post a link. :)

I didn't post it yet because I like to use them for the banning game and I haven't had a chance to ban you recently in the Commie lounge. Since this isn't the final product here's my draft when I thought you were a tomato!

An ancestor of RJDiogenes
Was a Celtic lass named O'Shaughnessy
She preferred ripe tomatoes
To the common potato
And inspired that love in her progeny. ;)

My current one is from the movie Avatar (ironically enough) because I loved that movie and it was the best picture I could find online. I may change it at some point though, and one of the ones in the running is my previous one, which was Bill Adama in one of my favorite scenes from the series finale (The volunteer line)

Mine is Bloo from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I like Bloo; he's like my alter-ego, the whiney, bossy side that comes out from time to time. I almost always have a Bloo avatar. Sometimes, cool posters like Spiff, Trekkiedane or Flukie make them for me without my even asking.

I like this one in particular, because it's a lot like me---a blue blob with a soda in one hand and a remote in the other.

Hmm, now I know why people search for their own names. :rommie:

Excellent rhyming! And my ancestors, at least some of them (the loudest ones), were indeed Irish. Nice job.

My favorite one of yours came later-- Bush in Iraq. Man, that cracks me up. The little bounce at the end. :rommie:

Mine reminds me of my Father.

... And I really loved Up, which also reminded me of my Father (who I miss very much). :(

The loudest ones!

My dad's family is from Ireland but he never gets a word in edgewise from my mom - she's side - Polish - when we get together we sound like an airport!
Hmmm, what rhymes with Goofy Grape . . .

Mine seemed appropriate. I pulled the username out of my ass after I'd forgotten my old username and password from like, 8 years ago(because I didn't get on here for awhile), and here just recently I google image searched "Bread and Circuses," cropped a pic of mccoy as a gladiator, made it my avatar. It's all very boring. I shouldn't have even posted this.
