Exeter Act Three Has Been Released

About. Darned. Time. ;)

I'll be downloading tonight at home!

Congrats to all involved!

Yay!

I didn't see this message, but I happened to check the Exeter site a few minutes ago. I was thrilled not to see "Spotlight on TTI Director" still there! I'm downloading now.

You people are all too busy at work for a Friday.

I authorize you all to take the rest of the day off.

Just show this message to your boss. Let me know what happens.

Most excellent! I think you guys have totally nailed the look and feel of the original Star Trek visual effects. The Exeter is nearly flawless. Well done!

SPOILER ALERT!

That shuttlebay model was sublime, Dennis... was that your doing or Michael Struck and the crew at NEO f/x? Whoever did it, it was absolutely perfect--it looks EXACTLY like the hangar deck from Star Trek. I mean EXACTLY like it--it's uncanny.

I think I see what the big delay was for, btw... did I detect just a wee hint of Jimm Johnson being rotoscoped into a scene on the bridge when he was talking to Harris at the beginning of the act?

Well worth the wait... see you all in 2009 for Act IV!

That's NEO f/x contribution to Act Three (that I'm aware of. They may have done more).

I built the models; Michael Struck retextured the hangar deck, animated, lit and rendered the shot.

And the Galileo itself:

One of, if not the, most successful CG shot in the episode IMAO. Hopefully Michael and the NEO folks will do more in Act Four.

Oh, and 2009 for Act Four? I hope not - I have a project of my own to shoot in 2009 and certainly hope to be long done with "Tressaurian Intersection" by then. ;)

Holy crap, it finally happened, but as the last poster says it seems to be only streaming, I don't want to watch it in a 2 by 3 inch screen I want full screen, how do we do that?

I'm really looking forward to watching this. I have been very impressed with what I have seen so far with this webisode.

The Exeter folks have completely nailed the look and feel of the original series in a way that CBS Digital rarely has.

It will be a great joy to see this segment.

HOLY CRAP! Someone get a picture of HELL, before it defrosts! ;)

(So, when will we see ACT IV?)

Seriously - congratulations. I'll be downloading as soon as I get off work today.

I just watched the episode, and I have to say once again, excellent work. There is a real level of professionalism in every frame, and it shows. I can't wait until the final act is complete. Great work! :D
