It means nothing.
When you create/submit an IMDb page for a new film that has not been released yet, it's mandatory you click on one of these from the drop down menu for Production / Development Status:
Production Unknown
Announced
Pre-production
Filming
Post Production
Completed
Released
Obviously the last one is N/A. But the first one is some bullshit. I would hope IMDb
would not take a new STAR TREK series submission without some link other than a dude walks in and makes a pitch. Sad if true.
I'm looking around and all I see are video on Youtube talking about rumors. One guy saying according to his inside source, the contracts with Kurtzman and another guy have to expire before they can greenlight anything, and Kurtzman is dragging his feet and being difficult. So, there appears to be NOTHING behind this except rumors and some dude probably took that one rumor of this show happening and made an IMDb page.
Anyone can create a page on IMDb, so reading into it means absolutely nothing. At best, it's wishful thinking.

They're lying.
They've fired him 444 times so far if the internet is to be believed so there must be.I'm sure there's a clause that allows Paramount to get rid of Kurtzman whenever they want.

That's something every employment contract features, whether it's in the entertainment industry or not.I'm sure there's a clause that allows Paramount to get rid of Kurtzman whenever they want.

Okay, and? It’s a think piece from a writer I’ve never heard of.![]()
I'm Against Scott Bakula's Star Trek Enterprise Sequel Pitch. Here's Why
Let's talk about this.www.yahoo.com

It's a business relationship. The whole point is mutually beneficial. That's something every employment contract features, whether it's in the entertainment industry or not.
Had Paramount really wanted to fire Kurtzman, they would've done so long before now.
His contract is up in a few months. August i think. We'll all know by the fall what's really going on. I hope he gets canned but I suspect he'll be sticking around in some capacity. But after 10 years I think its time someone else got a chance.
I've been trying to determine where the "August" thing comes from. It seems like something a bunch of YouTubers keep saying, but sites like TrekMovie (which, yes, I've written for, but still) tend to phrase it as "end of the year."
I'm more inclined to believe the latter, but we'll see. I'll do more digging.
Yeah, plenty of blogs out there already where I can read this kind of stuff.Okay, and? It’s a think piece from a writer I’ve never heard of.
