The fan produced audio drama Star Trek: Excelsior is now in it's third season. As we continue to chronicle the adventures of the Excelsior and its crew we are finding we need more help behind the scenes.
We have an entry level opening for a production assistant who will be assigned thankless, but extremely important jobs such as reviewing lines submitted from our cast members scattered around the world.
We also would like to add at least one member to our crack post production team. We would prefer a person with post production experience, but we will consider training a person who is eager to learn this craft. Having a copy of Cool Edit Pro, Adobe Audition or comparable editing software package will really help your chances!
Voice acting is a lot of fun, but it's very competitive and can be extremely difficult for even experienced va's to get roles, but an experienced post producer can find enough work to keep them working round the clock, just on fan productions. There are also a growing number of professional production companies seeking experienced post producers. (Note I said "professional" that means they pay!)
If you'd like to become a part of one of the best audio production teams on the Internet please drop as a note with a brief description of what you can offer us to starshipexcelsior@gmail.com.
Best regards,
Mike
