Frankly, I loved it just for the refrigerator twist that you got after you realized which plot was the dream; Sarah Connor suspects that when she isn't around, Cameron wanders around in her undies making John blue.
Of course, that's, you know, true ("Weren't you wearing a jacket?"). But its still funny how she imagined it.
Isn't that the shaky-cam monster movie from J.J. Abrams?
This lost me when they started throwing in different plots and other terminators.

Hmm. Well, if this is true, then that leaves very little sci-fi oriented come fall. "Stargate: Universe" and "Heroes" would be about it, correct?

That was part of the move to Friday. The DVR numbers put the show in the 7 million range.
Fringe, Supernatural, Smallville and Ghost Whisperer will all be back next fall. Plus there are a few sci-fi/spooky genre type shows out for pilots.
EW's blog post is false. Both the Co-producer and the Producer have stated via twitter that it isn't true. I've known that for awhile. It's all over the place because everyone's expecting FOX to give the show the axe with its ratings.
Thing is, the producers would tell the fans up front if the show was really gone. My take on this is the network is on the verge of giving the show its pink slip and the production studio, Warner Brothers, is shopping the show around because the T4 movie is coming out.
Still, if you want to protest, go to the fan sites. They've already started a Save Our Show campaign.

The producers always do that because they don't want to be the bearer of the bad news. Just like EJO accidentally slipped about the cancellation of NuBSG but then David Eicke said "NOOOOO we are not cancelled!". Couple of weeks later the truth came out.
I always thought a 4yr arc was the plan? Were there ideas to do a S5 but nuBSG got cancelled instead of ending according to plan?
Well, according to the statements and rumors at the time of the announcement, what happened was that the producers could either have a 13th episode 4th season, and maybe a fifth season (don't remember if it was solidly 13 or 20 episodes), or they could have a fourth season with a guaranteed 20 episodes. RDM either said or implied that there were two more chapters in the series in his mind, so it could either have been the 4th and 5th season, or the first and second halves of the 4th season.
If the show had gotten a guarantee of a 5th season, then the overall plot we saw in the 4th season would've still happened, with the major twists in the mythology of the show, but it would've been at a more leisurely pace, with more chances to explore side stories and minor characters and various other whatnot that caught the writers' interest.
Lost will be back; Medium and Chuck are still possible. The new genre pilots include the V remake, which sounds interesting to me, plus Caprica (the pilot is soon to be out on DVD). There are lots of others but we might as well wait for the upfronts to see which make the cut.

Salvation is a reboot and a sequel and, to an extent, a remake. Yes that is correct.
