EW Reporter Saying TSCC Is Dead

If Chuck, Terminator, Dollhouse, Pushing Daisies, Galactica, and Atlantis all go within a year's time, this is a bad thing for genre shows.

I don't think I've watched an episode since that sleep hospital one. When *I* stop caring, it's time to give up the ghost....

^ It got a lot better after that episode I'm afraid. The producers and writers all agreed that episode was among the worst of the series.

I guess I can bear some of the responsibility. I was a big follower of TSCC. I was a third of the way into season two. Dispite the heavy viewing (and DVRing) schedule, I remained vigilant. When it was announced it was being moved from Monday to Friday, it was pretty much the kiss of death and I had to lighten my load. It's not that I didn't like the show. I still kept up with it in various reviews and message boards. But it was a case of Fox+Friday=why even bother. I hate to be proven right in this case. :(

This is good, isn't it? Less conflict with the new movie(s)...
Given a choice of watching Summer Glau or Christian Bale, I'd rather have the series than the movie.

I suppose I should have realized the signs were not good when Virgin 1 (damn stupid name for a channel) put it back from 9PM to 10.

Same here...And I am not as 'high' on this show midway in the second season. And with so much to watch, TSCC sunk. So I kind of lost interest.

Lost..24...Heroes...American Idol (yeah!)...Hell's Kitchen (yeah!)...Big Bang Theory...The L Word (yeah!!!)...Brave and the Bold...America's Funniest Videos...that's enough for me (not to mention history channel)

First the Writer's Strike, soon after that, Shark and now this! Something is going spectacularily wrong with US network television.

That episode and the one before it were arguably the worse hours of tv I have ever seen.

Now I've not seen the episodes to which are referred here but seriously, worse than "These Are The Voyages..."? The infamous 'valentine to fans' series finale of Enterprise.

Brian Austin Green reported to comic book resources that the writers have begun writing Season 3 episodes. He didn't confirm if they would be back though.

Depends what you like. Personally I can't get myself excited for Salvation because it won't tie into the series at all.

How won't it be tied into the series? We have seen the future in T1 and T2, and obviously that's where it takes place.

The writers were told that they could ignore the established Terminator series if they wished. In October Nolan said this film is a triad. Its a sequel, a prequel, and a remake and they didn't have to respect Terminator canon if they didn't want to. There was an anecdote where he even said to McG "Doesn't this scene conflict with canon?" McG's answer: "Who the fuck cares?"

WTF...

To be fair, time travel does have a certain liberating effect on the notion of continuity. Especially since we've already established that this isn't a predestination paradox anymore.
