Event Horizon Series In the Works

Jason Issacs told a funny story about this at DST 2018 about that scene they shot when they were in "hell". Apparently, they got some sadists together and told them to have fun for a few minutes while someone films them. Jason said the cameraman was all white afterward, thinking that he just came back from Vietnam or something. :)
He also said that on opening day, he and a few others snuck into a cinema to see how well the movie was doing, which was a bad idea because it bombed and all the screens were near empty.

Heh. My best friend and I aren't at all slasher film fans, but to us the trailers had made it look more sci-fi with horrific elements, and at the time my impression of Sam Neill was friendly dinosaur expert from Jurassic Park.

After the film we were both quiet until we got outside the theater, at which point I said, "Well...that wasn't what I was expecting."

I have to admit, I'm kind of curious about the novelization now though.

so alien and disruptive that it was sheer agony to experience. Or something like that.
Medusa meets Daoloth

INTERSTELLAR had tessaract scenes that could boggle minds...but actually making said space hell...

“You lot think of space as an air-free road to other island worlds...let me show you what the void between the stars really is.”
