Basically Doctor Who boiled down to its simplest, and all the better for it. Corridors, running, sarky Daleks, funny, tense, hugely enjoyable throughout. Yeah, a lot of the mechanics were, inevitably, glossed over, but for once it did more than enough right not to care.
