Predictable. Usually the first step any good defense lawyer will take when defending a client as zany as Jennifer has been lately. Now we'll see if she takes the assistance and programs offered seriously. They'll probably prescribe some kind of mood stabilizing drug too.

I googled King of Jordan + richest man in the world, and there were not zero search results, but yes, I am also being silly. As far as personal wealth goes, Bill might seem to have more, but after you factor in Jordan itself, it's a different ballgame.
Of course there are other routes to go than being the nice guy with a wallet the size of the Appalachians.
1. Is diplomatic immunity retroactive? Give her citizenship and an embassy job.
2. Commando extraction raid. Some real zero dark 30 shit to blow the walls off County and take Jennifer to freedom.
3. Kindnap the children who saw her and ransom a retraction of charges off the parents putting forward the accusations. Kidnap the parents, and maybe all of Jennifer's neighbours so that no one can make their court date to give testimony. Or just pay off all their mortgages. Hell, most of them would let jack the Ripper run free in return for a steak dinner.
4. Prisoner exchange via the US State Department.
5. Bribe the Judge. $5,000,000 would break the most honest resolve to be above reproach.

Well, don't forget how much the country is going in the hole being one of the primary refuges for displaced Syrians.
Anyway, inspired by your riffs on ways of securing Jennifer's freedom, how about the Feds sending messages on social media to ISL, purporting to communicate her total commitment to join and serve in their chattel community. A retinue of our finest accompany her to Turkey to prevent her from actually being absconded.
At the same time, the government drops a dime on Jennifer for her alleged actions so that Americans (or at least a few of them) will brand her as a traitor who has permanently disappeared to suffer her richly deserved fate.
Meanwhile, she's offered to the Russians as an addition to Snowden of another extremely valuable American expat. I just discovered that Jennifer Lien has been removed from the "Cast Database" at the startrek.com site.
Obviously, no support or compassion to be found there despite three years of good work for them.
Kes ist still in the "Characters Database". I wonder for how long, considering all efforts they did to make us forget the character in seasons 4 and 5 until they decided to destroy the character.

Well all the characters should all be removed really, except Spock, since Abrams collapsed the timeline, redacting 50 years of Television.
