Yeah, it's weird. They weren't bad so far, they had some opportunities in both games, and yet, somehow they don't get to score. So far, anyway. But I'd be very surprised if Germany gave that game away, now.

If am right Holland can go through if Germany beats Denmark and they beat Portugal by 2 clear goals. If they start with that attacking line up from the 2nd half then they stand half a chance. Anyone else feels Robben should be sent packing?

Yeah, I thought that was funny, too. And rather unusual for him. Normally he's so tense during games, and he was during this one, too. I guess it was a way to release some of that.

Jax, your calculations are correct. At least, that's what they said here on TV, too. I also agree that Holland should play with the team from the second half against Portugal.

Well, not a good result for Italy. They definitely need a victory against Ireland now, maybe a convincing one. And they probably have to root for Spain against Croatia. eta: or for Ireland now against Spain, if Ireland gets at least one point, that would be excellent for Italy.
