Eric Snider mocks Star Trek V

Eric D. Snider has a funny weekly column at film.com, in which he pokes fun at various bad movies. This week he is covering Star Trek V, in honor of the new Trek movie hitting theaters. I think some of you might enjoy it. I did. I think others of you might be offended. My apologies.

Oh, well. Here it is.

Loved it!

Watch the preview from YouTube: "A renegade Vulcan on a quest for knowledge and he'll do anything to get it!" Oh my god, whatever shall we do!

Read it, it was great, some funny stuff in it for sure: "a film in which the Enterprise crew meets the Wizard of Oz and almost gets killed by him" :guffaw:

I still laughed at some of the geriatric jokes, but I think it's unfair to attack the movie on that basis. I personally couldn't care less what age the actors are if the movie had been better.

I'm one of the few who actually liked the movie for what it was though. Also it's unfair to say the Klingon wanted to pick a fight with an old geezer, really what the Klingon wanted was a battle of wits against an adversary with tremendous strategy. But anyway, I digress.
