Episodes you like but ,,,

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
no one else seems to.

I thought of this thread after reading the differing opinions on Night Terrors.

For me
The Bonding
A Matter of Perspective
Shades of Gray
Legacy
Imaginary Friend
Genesis

I like Imaginary Friend as well :D Good old cheesy sci fi.
I can't see any good points in Shades of Gray at all though.

Masks

I love the wierdness of it and Spiner just had an outstanding performence as the multiple personality Data.

I've always liked Emergence a lot, just because the whole notion of the Enterprise spawning its own artificial intelligence is so downright zany!

It's also got, in my opinion, the best-ever use of the old holodeck-goes-awry gag.

I liked Angel One. The Odin crew members eluding capture for so long because Ramsey's wife was council member Ariel, was pretty creative for so early in the series.

I too liked Emergence. It was an interesting Trekken concept that hadn't been done before. It was actually kinda cool.

My favorite episode is Hero Worship, but I never hear too much hoopla about it from others.

And I too like Masks and Genesis... and Phantasms as well. I find those episodes weird and disturbing, but I like watching them anyway. I also like Emergence, simply because the idea of the ship having a baby is hilarious! And I like the scene where Data almost gets run over by a car and then ends up holding it back with one hand!

Like a lot of season seven, Emergence had a good idea poorly executed IMO.

During the recent best episode poll on the TNG board, I was the only person who admitted voting for Sub Rosa during the season 7 round, although I noticed a few others voted for it. ;)

It certainly has it's faults, but I enjoy the weird feel to the episode. Plus I've always liked Bev, one bloody fine looking woman IMHO. :)

As my wife likes to say, "I know - Bev and the candle!"

I've heard a lot of complaints about it.

Oh, and I also enjoyed Code of Honor, The Big Goodbye, The Neutral Zone, and Up The Long Ladder

Shades of Gray is far, far from the worst episode of the series.

I always liked the Gambit two parter but no-one seems to rave about it. Nothing wrong with The Child either. Has a fantastic opening shot. Was watching it the other day - for 1988 the effects are pretty amazing as the shuttle flies out of the bay.

Always enjoyed The Last Outpost as well.

Tin Man, though I'm not sure if it counts as well-liked or not

also

Masks, Genesis, Sub Rosa (to a certain extent), and The Loss
